Just to add to this Bircham said today we was sacked as the owner asked him to play his son. Not even Bechetti went this far... Hendon should feel right at home.
One for Hendons CV- led Waterford to relegation within 72 hours. Not totally to blame although he did put the owners son on the bench.

Me 2, what I can't understand is how come he was thought to be any good as a football manager, Leicester winning the Premiership was a fluke, those of us watching their run into being crowned champions knew it was gonna happen all he had to do was hang on to the teams' coattails as they charged to the title, he was found out following season and dumped, Watford, need to look at heir decision making

Me 2, what I can't understand is how come he was thought to be any good as a football manager, Leicester winning the Premiership was a fluke, those of us watching their run into being crowned champions knew it was gonna happen all he had to do was hang on to the teams' coattails as they charged to the title, he was found out following season and dumped, Watford, need to look at heir decision making

Anyway, regardless of squad, those sorts of runs needs EVERYONE to be top of their game. There's no way they win that title with the manager having no impact on tactics, in game decisions, motivation, etc...

very niave if you think success is just putting together a good squad.

Bet there will be a huge bonus for keeping them up. Not bad for a few months work if he pulls it off. Allardyce would surely have been a better option.
