If you want the stats, do the research. I'm not making any comparison between Labour and any other government.
Whether the Daily Mail quote the soundbite or not doesn't change the facts about Labour governments & unemployment namely that :
every Labour government, apart from the short McDonald government of approx 9 months, has left power with unemployment higher than when it took power.
Ok, in which case I'll add:
Every Tory government has left power with unemployment higher than when it took power.
This is easy.
Except that is not true
The labour one however is true
every Labour government, apart from the short McDonald government of approx 9 months, has left power with unemployment higher than when it took power.
Besides, my post was not a comparison between parties, it was a responses to Anthem of Hope saying Labour aimed to help the working man. I was pointing out the difference between intentions and the product.
Sadly you seem to want yo turn it I to a false comparison between parties by making up lies
No comparison, just adding some balance. I can do big and bold too

Except you are making up things.
It is not true that every Tory government has left power with unemployment higher than when it took power
Oh no, someone has triggered Spen into some kind of loop where he just repeats himself over and over. What was his last one? "Jeffrey Epstein has as many convictions for rape as you and I?"

I think there another one where his line of argument was gradually whittled down to “50 is less than 200”, or something to that effect.

I made my position and the reasons a few entries up this thread
What I fail to understand with Spen who is apparently
- a practising lawyer ( solicitor)
- a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Accountants
His propensity to generate this type of conflict with other boarders who have not got I assume similar professional attributes- but are intelligent.
Then we get days of correction of facts or statements of thought conveyed as if it is a court of law.
This is a football forum board of views, that all, and it really does not matter if anyone and I mean all of us cannot find the data / give wrong data in good faith / or just have different views that are not substantial in their conclusion.
If Spen qualifications and career are true I respect that fact, but his jaundiced approach on here to others including historically being damning about me as I written above gives me the impression his character is flawed.
Flawed he may be, but at least he can drive from Newcastle to Leyton in 3 hours!

He isnt a very good lawyer
I absolutely battered him on here
Regarding a legal case & he thought he was doing that to me . However i showed him his some mistake after originally mentioning the "clue" & he still missed it &
Argued on .
Oh it was fun .

I believe he implied or admitted that he was speeding
I never saw that admission, but speeding or not it's still impossible.
300 miles, in three hours , = 100 mph average speed.
Totally impossible

All of that is true but he's one of our top Boarders.
Johnson's just gone and changed the ministerial code so that he doesn't need to resign over breaches. One of the reasons is to “avoid incentives for trivial or vexatious complaints, which may be made for partisan reasons.”
F*cking 'ell! That's too much, even for a rabid right-wing fascist like me.
3 more letters put in today , people finding there own stolen cars police are so stretched , dead babies in peoples fridges cos hospitals are f*cked , Well done to b*dge &the scummy electorate who put him there !

Would be rather entertaining for the 54 threshold to be reached at the same time as Durham Constabulary fining Sir Beer Korma
It's pathetic that this disunited nation in crisis has a leader who makes up nicknames for the opposition leader and uses it at PMQs. We are being led by an IMBECILE.
