No, it isnt. You are not comparing like with like.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 2:11 pmThis isn't hard to follow. If you think that accusations of institutional prejudice against groups that put up with racist sh*t should be taken at face value and not viewed through the prism of political conspiracy/smear (as essentially Corbyn confirmed he did in that statement), then what Shaheen has alleged is as serious as what Jewish people alleged under Corbyn.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 1:03 pmHow many Jewish MPs did Corbyn stop from standing?Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 11:53 am Think the treatment of Shaheen is gross tbh, but there is an obvious inconsistency with how we're expected to treat these allegations of prejudice with how much downplaying was done towards Jewish members/mps complaining about similarly felt impressions of prejudice.
Right now they're too busy scrambling for lifeboats or frantically bailing water out of the hull.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 3:22 pm I’m surprised the Tories haven’t made more of Labour’s policy of votes for 16 year olds to be honest

I’d be interested to see how this was calculated? Please shareMax B Gold wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 3:32 pm In essence the incidence of antisemitism in the LP is lower than in the general public.
The incidence of antisemitism was about 0.3% of the membership. And I agree even one is one too many.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 3:44 pmI’d be interested to see how this was calculated? However, given they were ostensibly trying to run the country, “they’re a bit less racist than the average voter” isn’t a ringing endorsement

Not sure if this is Maxy's reference source but does refer to 0.3% being a reasonable estimate.Currywurst and Chips wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 5:39 pmPlease reference where this figure came from? The article you linked to doesn’t use the word “reasonable estimate” at all, in fact it challenges it

Update: Professor Greg Philo has contacted FactCheck to offer a likely source for Mr Corbyn’s claim: his 2019 book Bad News for Labour. In the book, Professor Philo takes the figures for antisemitism cases provided by Jennie Formby in 2019 and extrapolates back to estimate numbers across the whole of Mr Corbyn’s leadership. He says this estimate of 0.3 per cent of Labour members being involved in antisemitism cases is “well within what the existing evidence would indicate”.

The Anti semitism scam was a political tool used by the Labour right, Israeli assets and the establishment to beat Corbyn.
One to defeat mild social democracy and two, to ensure the UK acted in the way it has to the next round of violence come genocide in Palestine.
NEVER!

You know it and I know it. You are defending the indefensible.
I think we need CEB to take a deep dive into this one and establish the truth. He's good at researching stuff.
