Before too many start salivating over a Boris general election win remember that just under half of the voting public are being dragged out of Europe against their will by the Tories, especially via 'no-deal'.There has to be repercussions from that. Every time a Brexit party candidate stands against a Tory the leave vote gets split. I cannot see a deal being done between them as it will send the rest of the Tory remainers straight to the Lib Dems.

Nice to see we have an Environment Minister who is keen on fracking, no conflict of interest there then.

A bit like having a health sec who's ideologically committed to dismantling the NHS and replacing it with the "bankruptcy and/or death" system as we've had with the last three health secs'.

This is the thing though is it not. What kind of democracy fails to report the financial interests of the elected representatives?

Just two days into the job and Boris is already creating a Police State. 20000 extra 'coppers'.

The same could be said of the extra GPs promised, it takes about seven years to train them.

Boris thinks that the plebs are all sitting out there just waiting for the nod to answer his call.

All very Etonian.

No deal Brexit now ‘assumed’ by the government according to Gove.

The Tories are now committing parliamentary and election hare-kiri.

This political disembowelment is going to be fun to watch.

It'd be fun to watch if the public didn't have to bear the brunt of their complete incompetence. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse Boris & Co will feck it up much, much more. How any body can still support the Tories is a total mystery to me. Has there been a mass lobotomising programme that I haven't heard about?

I see Boris has dropped the enquiry into that Tory MP who battered that woman at a posh dinner.

Batter was off the menu that night as it wasn't posh enough, so Boris dropped the enquiry.

I see they are now blaming the EU for what they wanted to happen all along. If you thought it took a long time for them to do the Canada deal just wait and see what we get. Causing collateral damage to the rest of Europe, especially in Ireland, is going to have a cost when we try and negotiate.

The latest Gove plan is to buy all the lamb from the farmers, that would normally go into Europe, so that the farmers don't go out of business. The thing is what is he going to do with several thousand tons of meat. All of the cold storage depots are already full from companies stockpiling in case of a no-deal. Any ideas?

Tories majority now down to 1 after by election in Wales, and thats with the support of the NI unionists. Apparently, about a dozen 'moderate' tory MPs are in talks with the Lib-Dems to move to that party, in which case johnsons majority will be well and truly gone

Think were certain to have a GE this autumn

Why is a far right neo liberal ideologue interfering with the market in this way? Its a bleedin' disgrace. It's almost as if he doesn't believe in the sh*t he spouts for prole consumption.

Boris reportedly hires a top PR company with a budget of £100m to "persuade us" of the benefits of a hard Brexit. Well that's money well spent......

And if we don’t leave because of Remainer MPs they’ll be locking in just over half the country that wanted to leave . There would also be repercussions from that as well .

But is there still "over half the Country" that STILL want to leave. We don't know that do we. Given the unbelievable shambles created by the wholly incompetent Tories then maybe the percentages would be very different if we voted now. Especially if people were voting for a hard brexit with all the unnecessary risks and propensity for disaster entailed by that path.
