An interesting question.
I've heard them asked that question plenty of times. They always respond with the "because he was the only one who could get Brexit through Parliament" line.

I thought it was because he told them the N.I boarder problem was fixed & they all believed him . May told the truth J*hnson didnt .
Surprised the site that was being used haven't found a way to promote their content with a "As used by........" campaign.
Which site was it by the way?

More Tory sleaze and corruption.
"The National Crime Agency has launched a potential fraud investigation into a PPE company linked to Michelle Mone and searched the Tory peer’s shared home.
The NCA investigation is into PPE Medpro, a company that secured more than £200m in government contracts near the start of the pandemic without public tender.
On Wednesday, the agency searched several properties associated with the company in the Isle of Man and London. They included the Isle of Man office building where PPE Medpro is registered and the mansion where Lady Mone lives with her husband, the business magnate Douglas Barrowman"

Give the guy a break! The poor man doesn't know if he watched porn or not and will need to wait for the enquiry to tell him what actually happened. A bit like Bodge really , he didn't know that he'd been at lockdown parties until an enquiry told him. My wife has accused me of not washing the dishes for 2 days when she was away visiting her sister. I'll wait for the outcome of the enquiry to establish the truth
Conservative MP Michael Fabricant has apologised for suggesting teachers and nurses enjoyed a "quiet drink" in staff rooms during lockdown.
Im hoping the likes of Doh & Faldo come to join this thread instead of only participating in the Labour watch thread .
I might respect them as MEN if they did
Blunt to retire after increasingly tumultuous times as an MP

Something like
“Don’t like to praise Boris but think you’ll find he was the one who introduced the Freedom Pass to help out people like Elsie. Need to consider the good he does as well as the bad. Never straightforward. Complex.”

Or some such guff.
He can't say that as Boris never introduced the Freedom Pass. I'm afraid that was yet another lie.
