my local health centre where we and hundreds of others are registered with our doctors tells me they are not doing Vaccines , I'm wondering how mum ( and anybody else registered there will get one ) That sounds terrible Ron. What do they mean "they're not doing vaccines" ? Not very many health centres will have the vaccine at the moment, they are are being done in hospitals and what they term as Vaccination hubs. I would ask to speak to you mums GP Ron and find out where she will be vaccinated - they should be able to tell you that if not when. I'm sure you're already on it, but I'd be going back to the health centre asking what they mean - "not doing vaccines" - cos that just sounds plain wrong.
Tier system isn't going to work - we need a full lockdown. Even then it will b at least another 2 to 3 weeks of hell before cases start to drop. Are we talking about spreading it to parents? Hi Ron. The are about 4 million doses currently being delivered. 40 million are then due to arrive from the end of March. Whether or not your Mum gets one of the first tranche of 4 million is likely to depend on how many are ahead of her in the queue.
