Percentage of positive tests over the last 12 Weeks.

This gives a true picture of positive cases vs tests, and is a better indicator of how cases are growing. There is a definate ticking upwards in cases over the last two weeks. this week after 3 days the figure is running at over 10% and this does not include todays 53,000 cases as number of tests wont be available until tomorrow.

8.06% w/e 25/12
8.95% w/e 18/12
5.36% w/e 11/12
4.70% w/e 04/12
5.35% w/e 27/11
7.02% w/e 20/11
7.48% w/e 13/11
7.81% w/e 06/11
7.45% w/e 30/10
6.63% w/e 23/10
5.89% w/e 16/10
5.75% w/e 09/10

Greyhound wait until the number of tests are revealed, the reporting of tests looks a bit low over the last few days even given the holidays it could be that the number of cases will reflect a catch up in test reporting tomorrow. That said if you look at my figures in the post above there are more positive cases against tests than we have had before so it is increasing. The Oxford Vaccine will be approved in the next couple of days and the plan is to ramp up to between 1-2 million jabs a week in the next month - The jab is on the way and I think we will probably have a complete lockdown in the next few days to arrest the spread of the virus and slow the chain of infections- hospitalisations-Deaths. until the vulnerable can be vaccinated.

Stay Safe.

You shouldn’t be scared. Follow the government advice and you will be fine, it’s when people break from that is when it goes wrong. Stay positive.

I can see myself getting in a fight over covid as i do pull up idiots and let them have it, I guess it’s only a matter of time before it kicks off big time. I do think they need to be told as they are being selfish and dangerous to others.

Did you have any luck finding the information on the 5500 serious reactions to the vaccine you mentioned yet?

And vaccinating as many people as possible before giving them their second dose up to 12 weeks later seems a sensible tactic.

Credit to both Oxford and AstraZeneca for going not for profit. The government has already acquired 4million doses, with a further 40million due by the end of March. We have an exit.

Wake up will you. He is only calling for it so he can drill his players in what he wants them to do and do a mini pre season. You think he will tell them go put your feet up lads were adrift at the bottom of the league but don't worry after the two week covid break I'm sure we will pick up the required points. If you think that, then you don't understand football.

The 53,135 yesterday came from 344,725 tests that is a staggering 15.41% of tests coming back positive!!

The previous highest was 12.88% on Boxing Day.

The average so far this week is over 12 % per day up nearly 50% on last week.

The highest weekly Average before now was 8.95% two weeks ago.

Two million doses a week available from mid January - The government claims that two million vaccinations will be possible each week when they are available - that is a huge task and I doubt it's "doable"

Noticed how they've ALWAYS gone with the best case scenario throughout this pandemic and never actually delivered?

It's extremes DCC at times when it suites them it's worst case scenario and at others best case.

I like most would just like them to be more honest. Tell us that the Nightingale London has been taken down and is no longer an option. Rather than just tell us that nearly 40,000 put there names forward in May be honest and say tell us there are still 30,000 volunteer former NHS staff still not been contacted and could be deployed to help the full time NHS staff. I put my name down as a NHS volunteer in April as did my neighbour I was approved and waited for the calls, Neither I or my neighbour have had anything to do. Not one call between us.
