Dominic Cummings - wonder if he made it out of London before Tier 4 was announced?

Or perhaps travelling up to Durham for Xmas, on a just in time basis (unlike our haulage industry), later on in the week.

What's the odd we had to offer some sort of Brexit concession for the French to open Calais?

Now that the press briefing has been announced, I'm sure the leaks of what it is to cover will emerge shortly. So we'll soon know what he is going to say before we have to watch him say it.

My som told me earlier the rozzers are stopping people and questioning where they are going, show them ID or they are sent back home again. What the hell is this coming to? Seems like a nazi or communist controlled agenda going on here now.

It’s interesting that the spike appears to be around the areas where we have our main hub airports and sea ports. So it would appear that it was brought here by others and were we just the first to spot it?

It’s suggested that a PCR test is run over not more than 35 cycles yet our scientists are askin the nhs to run it at 45 cycles is it any wonder that we get so many false positives?

So the mortality rate has now hit 0.01% of the total population. Still need that vaccine?

Vaccines are needed for a variety of reasons, not just to avoid death.

In the UK deaths as a percentage of population are around 0.1%, and the number of people who catch covid and die in the UK is 2-3%, depending on how it's measured.

Clearly the situation in many places including the UK, Europe, USA, is much more serious than some other places in the world, so the 0.01% number for the world population as a whole - which I assume is what you're referring to - is a pointless benchmark in determining whether vaccinations are a sensible strategy for a country.

‘Vaccines are needed for a variety of reasons, not just to avoid death’

Could come in handy then?

No sorry it’s the UK I am referring to. 67k deaths verses a 67m population which equals 0.1%
