Re: London Series
I can’t see past them winning the lot. The Rays gave them a bit of a scare at the start of the season but 1 thru 9 they are the best team in the league and that’s without Stanton. If they can improve their bullpen and maybe add a starter at the deadline, they win it easily.

Re: London Series
Had a good time today. Was a bit pessimistic to begin with, and how it would come over to a British crowd.
I ended up having a good day. The atmosphere was good, people seemed onboard and stuck with it.
First time in the stadium and despite the sh*t colour scheme, i thought it was good for baseball. Loads of food stalls and people walking round meaning there weren't many queues. Prices were a joke but you expect that.
The only down side was the ludicrous ticket prices for a game that isn't big here. Loads of the box seats were empty and behind home plate. The 'cheap' seats (and they were still 40-65 so not exactly cheap) were packed.

Re: London Series
You right if they can sort out the bullpen they will romp it. Take today a rookie as an opening pitcher, that’s a game plan they need to resolve to win the World Series.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2019 8:57 pmI can’t see past them winning the lot. Re: London Series
Went yesterday, last time at Fenway was in 1995, nice enough occasion but some ludicrous scoring over both games.
The fact that the stadium has a bigger capacity than any MLB ground tells you quite a lot!

Re: London Series
I was surprised about that the Olympic stadium is bigger than any MLB teams capacity. Then again when they play 162 games sellouts will be rare as you pick and choose what games you want to attend, that’s if you don’t have a season ticket of course. Also away fans are virtually non existent.
