We were told by the Brexit frauds that we were going to 'Take back control ' and be able to set our own taxation to suit our needs, unconstrained by the dictatorial EU.So how come no action on VAT on fuel .Seems like a perfect opportunity to demonstrate a benefit from leaving Europe, given the massive windfall in tax receipts that the treasury is now experiencing. The joke is Sunak. He cannot seem to understand that if you take money out of peoples pockets when inflation is rising, you are going to get a recession. The energy costs and effects from the war are just going to exaggerate the problem
