Although Matt is loud I'd be very surprised if he did use racist language.

Add to that ,
How many will now not report Racist attacks
Because they might not be believed .
Or how many will just use the remember the
Colchester United player & the Orient Fan.
They just make it up to get Fans in trouble.

I have been sitting in the next block to Matt for some years now and couldn’t understand how he got away with the abuse he used to dish out at either the Ref or the opposition bench / subs.
He used to actually leave his seat and walk right up to the opposition bench ‘ venting his spleen’ at whoever upset him on that particular day. How he got away with that sort of behaviour for so long, I really don’t know, but I often thought and commented that it didn’t reflect well on Leyton Orient FC and our fans.

In recent times he shouts the abuse from his seat.
I couldn’t hear on Saturday what he was shouting but I doubt it was anything racial and many fans sitting nearby are backing him on this. He is an idiot but I wouldn’t have said he was a racist.

The Colchester player had been quite ‘abrasive’ during the game and was trying to wind up the fans and unfortunately he succeeded with Mat bringing unwanted press on our club.

It’s been going on for years.
As I say, he used to walk right up to the away bench and hurl abuse, many of us on here witnessed this I’m sure.
Nowadays he does it from his seat and most people laugh, finding it amusing but really the stewards should have told him to calm down years ago, but nobody did anything, and now we have this.
Nobody comes out of this with any credit and it’s LOFC that suffers the bad press.

OFT Twitter page seemingly all over that and calling Danny Macklin all sorts of names. Another group that don’t shine much light on the club.

I think Wumble is probably referring to that enlightened bunch that still use the Orient Transit Firm moniker. OTF1881 is ‘their’ Twitter handle.

As for OFF, I’m glad (and not surprised) he’s not been charged with any offence. But as others have noted, he’s been loudly berating oppo benches and officials from the West Stand for yonks. Matt Porter had a few stern words with him back when he was CEO, but it never seems to sink in for long before the ‘passion’ overwhelms him again. The simple solution - for Mat and the Club - is move him to the South or East Stand, where he can bellow to his heart’s content…

Season Cards Terms and Conditions

The Club reserves the right to suspend or ban any supporter from any Leyton Orient fixture including reserves, academy and the women’s team who is found to have expressed discriminatory views, including abusive language or behaviour in a public space or online via forums or social media.

The Club also reserves the right to suspend or ban any supporter from any Leyton Orient fixture including reserves, academy and women’s team, and from all visits to The Breyer Group Stadium in any capacity who is found to place the Club in disrepute due to their actions outside or inside the Club’s premises. The Club also reserves the right, where relevant, to pass on any supporter’s contact details to the authorities in strict confidence.
Do these rules apply to super fans?

Before the West stand was rebuilt Matt used to sit in the East stand near the old Directors box .

Bollocks to that. He used to sit in he south stand where he was a massive pain in the arse, my brother once threatened to lay him out during one game. I don’t want him anywhere near me again. He’s a compete embarrassment.

Maybe a successful prosecution of the player involved will enable OFF to buy himself a seat on the board.

I don't know what the World's coming to, bloomin' Orient fans cheering their team on and getting a bit wound up. Absolute disgrace. I think it's time the club converted Brisbane Rd to a netball stadium.. I noticed this mania is spreading too. I actually saw some passion at the City Ground Nottingham yesterday. I hope the "steady" Orient supporters, like Tuffers, stop all this behaviour in it's tracks.
