I've been living in Sydney about 15 years now, and still love it. You get a great outdoor lifestyle and people are generally happier and more friendly. Don't get fooled by talk of more rain here. When it rains it properly rains so you get a higher quantity, none of that British drizzle, but you probably get 6 months worth of dry shorts wearing days. It has its problems though like any place particularly with property affordability. Adelaide is a nice, cheaper, quieter place if you're looking for an alternative. If you don't mind it a bit colder Tasmania is great.Admin wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 11:27 am It's gone to the f*cking dogs hasn't it?
For the first time in my life, I can honestly say if it wasn't for the family / employment ties, I'd be f*cking right off out of here. Not sure where that would be seeing as it's considerably harder now to go and live in the EU but there's got to be better places than this.
TIA.
