Tempting as your idea is, chances are Mungo would just pull up the drawbridge and not take any new members. It's what any dedicated and sensible Admin would do. Could you imagine how nice this place could be with a sensible moderator dedicated to their duties?

Thanks but as I've said elsewhere, setting this place up and running it was never about praise or some form of power. The Tapatalk forum was on it's arse and as RichmondO had disappeared without trace, I just thought I'd give setting up a forum a go whilst I had the time spare rather than let it just fade away. Sadly that time is now filled mainly with work and other commitments hence PW doing most of the spade-work around here and without his input this place would've probably disappeared when Bluehost made a bollocks of things. I've made no secret of my appreciation for PW's work on this place.

Think I've been modding / admin much longer than I ever intended - christ knows how many cock-ups and bad calls I've made over that time. Probably still make plenty more in the future. However, treating Huxley et al with the disdain they deserve isn't one of them.

Doug has had more than his fair share of health issues, but mainly down to his post-cancer drug treatment. But he's doing okay for now.
