We’re all forgetting the process. We need to invite applications and Martin needs to have a chat to everyone
Ling said the process was being reviewed after the Fletcher debacle. If that means now approaching potential candidates instead of interviewing only those that apply then that massively improves it by itself. Should have been doing that in the first place.
Think I recall that as well as having lists of players we like that we also have the same for potential future head coaches/managers.

Even though it’s a good idea, we can’t have all 3 (sorry 4) of them,

You’re right that was mentioned.
Hopefully the new and improved “ process” will be more fit for purpose than its predecessor!

Yep. Though if someone doesn't apply and we approach them and talk them into applying/accepting it then that will be met with hostility by some.

I think the best we could hope for. Slade as interim whilst others are spoken to would be good but not sure if that would work for all parties.

There is no point whatsoever on the club telling orther managers to apply for the job if we are going to appoint someone within the club to save money

Personally I'd like to see either Graham Alexander or Russell Slade but my gut feeling is neither would work under a DOF. I would be surprised if the club didn't appoint either Jobi or Senda to at least interim manager.

Slade got lucky for one season. He had no plan B. He often when loosing bought on a player in the last 20 minutes to turn a game round. You only had to look at the play off final. The next season he was given money by that Italian idiot and spent it unwisely. What the club should be looking for is a hungry young manager possibly lower league with a modicum of experience with dealing with players and can handle a tight budget whist getting on with the DOF and board. However if McNuff does ok then don’t bet against him getting the job.

Jobi has it until the end of the season good or bad I still think that jobi will get the job anyway
