Yep, correction was always likely after the weekend's surge
Prime buy the dip territory
Altcoins have tumbled even more and some nice opportunities there. ADA, ATOM and DASH all down 13-15%

Absolutely bonkers couple of days whilst I've been 'detained' - hope you've all been following the ride?

Can you just set the text change to convert BTC or Bitofacon to "My mum's old knickers"?

I don’t get why anyone would want to spend actual money buying fake money that is difficult to liquidate.

I thought that until I made my first 100k. Putting some of the profits in bricks and mortar now though. A couple of HMO's in Walthamstow are coining it in. Plan to pack it in when the first 10K fine comes in but as I'm making that in a month it would be daft to register.

Must be tough for the olds who don't understand it and therefore fear the crypto revolution.
Less sympathy for the ones who are snarky because they didn't heed the warnings and get on board when advised.

Now you mention it, I wonder if I could make a living in taking rich people's money and advising them how to invest it or even do it for them.
Can't believe nobody has thought of doing this

I'm not sure there's that much to "understand" is there? It's just a commodity that's limited in terms of the absolute amount that'll even be, any of which that remains un"mined" is becoming increasingly expensive (£ and environment) to extract, and no-one's really come up with any actual practical use for it that sets it aside from established money*. And yes, I'm happy to learn if anyone has any actual real-world practical use for it.
I keep hearing - "oh well you see it's independent of any Government backing" - like that's meant to be a good thing. As far as I can see, it might well be a feature, but I can't see it as a benefit.
* other than dark web purchases, obvs (and my understanding is that it's not entirely sure that it's untraceable)
