In retrospect he could have been given a few more run-outs this season to give Bonne a break. He has raw pace.

I can't, for the life of me, ever remember Michael Marks playing for us. Now, James Scrowcroft, there was a bad one especially with all the experience he had.
Scrowcroft was the striker I had in mind when I wrote my post. Dear God, he was beyond diabolical. We might as well played a statue up front.

Too much experience by the time he joined us, at 35 years old and many injuries, his best years were a long gone memory !

Not really sure what all the fuss is about. We signed a striker and it didn’t really work out. So what? This is football. Happens all the time.

I’m sure that he’s a decent bloke and I hope that he finds his feet elsewhere.
