Sorry, Daddy, but that is far from obvious to me!

By all means slate Ling, literally every $alford chance came right by him, but I actually think Angol is doing a half decent job being played well out of position. He tracks back well, frustrates the opposition and can spray it around a bit.
Yeah he doesn't score enough (again, out of position), and takes too many touches but I think it's clear there's a very good L2 forward in there somewhere.
I think it’s acknowledged he is being given a specific job to do, which may not be natural for his style of play. Quite like him as a player, apart from his temperament, but we are not giving him a chance to shine. But it’s either play out of position or not at all. My guess, I’m sure he prefers playing.

Yes, he’s being played out of position, yes he’s grafting and not giving the right back a free ride and getting back to help Brophy.

But it’s what he’s doing with the ball that’s the problem. Constantly loses it, never making the right decision, it’s painful to watch. And I’m a fan of his.

Angol is decent, I think it is just an example of a club and a player not fitting. I think he needs to move and be a star man somewhere that will play to his strengths. There is a player there.

Problem is we’re not the first club to find that.
