Much better at times second half had a really good 20 minutes mid half. One of the worst Tranmere teams I have seen but some encouraging performances from the players.

We never looked like conceding. We never looked like creating much to be fair but had the best of it and fully deserved the win. DJ missed an absolute sitter before the goal.

No one had a great game - Clay maybe the pick of the bunch - but no one had a poor game either.

Tranmere were absolute dog dirt though.

That’s the most comfortable defensively I’ve seen us for ages, Tranmere were really poor, game was there to be won and we obliged, well done all.

There will be much sterner tests to come, but for now let's hope we can put a few good results together.

Much better that than recent weeks. Tried to get bodies forward and actually thought about playing forward first before going sideways or back. Macnuff Akinola and Sotiriou very good games
