Thomas must start in front of Ling, he is a much more positive player going forward .

Great stuff O's
What's going on? 2 wins from losing positions already.
Very good start to the season. Let's see if we can keep it up.
Well done to Ross & the team.

Re: Exiles Thread – Plymouth (A)
Great comeback, fantastic result against a L1 time, lot of positives, few negatives. Coulson going off injured and Happe not fit might force us to make a move for a centre back, which I definitely wouldn't be against.

What's the relevance of the last bit, other than you airing your vendetta again because you can't resist having a cheap dig?

Re: Exiles Thread – Plymouth (A)
I take it that's due to lack of cover in front of our right backs so teams are targetting that side knowing Wilkinson/replacement doesn't offer much coming back?

Re: Exiles Thread – Plymouth (A)
Fantastic performance tonight, and I honestly didn’t expect us to come back at HT at 0-2.
Plymouth faded badly but Ross and the lads deserve great credit for a very spirited fightback.
Thought we started really well and Argyle scored against the run of play, but could have been 3 or 4 up by HT, although Ruel was unlucky when he hit the bar.
RE made good use of the squad, resting Clay and Wilkinson who should be fresh for Saturday.
The future is really looking much brighter.

Re: Exiles Thread – Plymouth (A)
As does Ling at times. Same could be said at times for Brophy and Widdowson on occasions. But Thomas offers so much more going forward. He will improve with games too.Real Al wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:05 pmBut looked out of his depth at times when defendingPoundhillO wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 9:49 pmThomas must start in front of Ling, he is a much more positive player going forward .

Re: Exiles Thread – Plymouth (A)
It was due to us defending poorly - Thomas, Wright, Turley, Coulson and to a lesser extent Ruel all to blame.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2020 10:04 pmI take it that's due to lack of cover in front of our right backs so teams are targetting that side knowing Wilkinson/replacement doesn't offer much coming back?

Make no mistake , that was an excellent result tonight . A big well done to Ross and the team . I think Plymouth are a good team and I expect them to do well this season so to come back from 2-0 down showed good character .

It seems so far that Quoting the words of a recent manager “This Group never gives up” and may it remain so for the remainder of this season.

Re: Exiles Thread – Plymouth (A)
We have found a gem in Johnson . Avoid injury, and he will score 30 goals this season.
