I have no doubts that Embleton considers Saturdays team as his strongest, so the LIng hatred will rage on. Obviously if Jordan Thomas plays well Tuesday there is a hope the right back situation might improve. One final note the finishes from Johnson and Wilkinson were pure class, so the boarders who have it in for them may also have a long wait for their beloved Sotoriou.
This isn’t an isolated incident. Him losing the ball or getting caught out in that position then the CB having to cover him and get out to the wide man has been happening since Justin was in charge. It happens all the f*cking time and it’s clearly something that can’t be coached out of him. He doesn’t have the pace to get back, so he needs to start using his brain before he goes charging up the pitch.
It’s not vitriol to criticise a player for f*cking up and it’s not sycophancy to praise someone for doing well. If someone does something wrong all the time, they’re going to get criticised all the time.

I dislike Sam Ling as I believe he is no more than a non league player and definitely does not get into the team on merit and it p*sses me off big time that he continues to be picked despite numerous howlers.
I personally dislike any player that is clearly not good enough to play for our club but continues to be picked, this happened last year with James Alibi who I am sure is a great bloke when he is not playing.
These choices infuriate me and I am sure the majority of fans and are solely down to the Manager for playing them.
In Sam Lings case his fathers influence I believe to be another factor why he is still being picked to start.
Again the HATRED OF LING SENIOR raises its UGLY head .
Its almost like the right wing press going after Corbyn .

I will not constantly critisise a player because i know they are all trying thier best. I will say Sam Ling is not a right back at the moment, it's upto the management to either coach him better or move him maybe into midfield a position he played with promise previously. There is definetly a decent player there and maybe Danny Senda could be what he needs (full back career) or maybe not. I hope so.

That’s fair.
He doesn’t bust a gut to get back in but that’s not lazy, it’s just because he’s not a natural, instinctive defender.
It’s the same way a natural goalscorer will follow in a shot on the chance of a rebound. They just do it without thinking. A forward player that doesn’t do that isn’t lazy, they just haven’t got that instinct.

Ling is Right back at the moment
A.mediocre one admittedly , but he started yesterday ,
l'm sure during the course of the season Juddy ( also mediocre)
will get games & so will the new kid.
I hope turley doesnt have to go in there as , he needs to be fully fit as a squad member in the centre of the defence .
Someone said earlier Is Mediocre good enough for us & honestly
the answer to that at this moment is YES ,
We were mediocre last season with exceptional circumstances
at both ends of the season & absolute disaster for 5 games or so near the middle
Lets Hope we improve dramatically over the whole season.

I said it last season and will continue to do so. Our form last year improved when Brophy and Marsh moved to full back. Both Ling and Judd are worth a goal a game to the opponent every week. Ling doesn’t stop crosses coming into the box. Judd is the same.
If we got Marsh back , he would go straight into the first game as right back. That says it all
