Has anything been said as to why young Myles didn't feature in either game at the weekend?
He'd been putting in some great performances, made himself the favourite to start the first proper game, and has now disappeared.
I'd love to know where these great performances have come from.
He's a very average player, Sam Ling is slightly better. So looks like this new lad will be an improvement.
I say well done ML & RE.

He’s had more good games than Sam Ling in less than half the games

Judd has played more games for us than ling jnr.
If Judd was that good he'd be way ahead & the position would be his.
He's not & he isn't!

Again show in which games he has been considerably better. I get nervous watching him because he's an accident waiting to happen. I Loved him when he first come into the team in those dark days, he gave his all when others didn't care, but ability wise he hasn't improved at all.
Whereas look at where Danny Happe was then & how much he has improved.
I'd love to know where these great performances have come from.

is this not the job of the many coaches to train , improve and develope these young players
what on earth do they all do
That's a really good point.
Can you think of a single player in the past few years who we have developed into a better player than he was when starting with us? I can't.
Daniels, absolutely. I wasn’t really referring to that time frame though.
There have been several kids who have naturally ‘improved’ as they’ve got a few games under their belt, become stronger/quicker etc such as Koroma and Happe. But I don’t see how they’ve been developed. Koroma for example still had poor decision making and a lack of end product when he left us. Happe still dallies on the ball and gets caught. Ekpiteta also makes poor choices more than you would expect, diving in and misjudging.
Bonne is a no as well. He was the same player he was as when he joined, just with 80 games and 40 goals to his name. His finishing was his biggest weakness and that didn’t improve at all over the two years with us.
For all the coaches in the building, there ain’t much developing going on.

I’m not sure Koroma was coached into a better player. He was just made into a striker, so got more time infront of goal.
No he was coached in to being the player we saw when he departed. His strength improved, his decision making improved, his team play improved, I could go on, but under Justin the improvement was like night and day. When Justin took over he was a boy, when he left us Justin had turned him into a man - I’m talking football terms rather human aged traits.

Since Koroma left the Os, it would seem that his game has certainly not progressed and in all probability has gone backwards. Confidence is everything in football and without regular games and playing well, his confidence will most likely wain rather than improve.

Totally disagree.
Yes, he was a better player but that’s just because he was 20 years old, not 17.
He wasn’t stronger. If you remember he properly bulked up a year or two back, and he quite rightly shifted that. His decision making and end product was still questionable. I loved the kid, I still wish he was here, but let’s not rewrite history.

Fair enough, I never watched him the season before. I’m going on the one season
