Don't be silly, Orient don't need to sign a CB. What a waste of money. What orient need is to sign an ex player to coach those playing at CB. Its obvious an extra coach is needed
According to Ling we have less coach's this season than last. I guess that makes you right. Maybe we need a coach for every position. Nearly there now.
Surely Orient need a coach for each of those coaches as well to ensure they get the best performance out of the coaches and then when these positions have been filled they could start on getting coaches for the coaches of the coaches
Don’t forget we need to book a coach for the coaches at away games. They could all meet at the Coach and Horses pub before the game. A new meaning to the term coach driver.

Why was this not streamed? They obviously had cameras and commentators there.
Some god damn awful play from Widdowson in there again. Really disappointing as I do like and rate him.
If you watched the Q & A from the other night it is explained in detail
I didn’t watch it.
What was the reason? No need for the full detail, thanks.

Widdowson at fault for first and third goal. An experienced centre back if you please Mr. Teague.
Not great from Joe for the third but come on, that doesn’t excuse what Lingy did.

Wouldn’t mind a couple of those West Ham kids on loan. That Kemp looks quality and a few of their strikers are rated.

I am not a fan of Ling, but digging him out for an own goal is weak. Criticise him for other parts of his game, but even the best defenders score own goals

They said they didnt want to do a stream because it'd be sh*t and that might put off new fans.

Judd has loads of energy and far more about him when going forward than the plodding Sam Ling.
I just hope that Judd is given a fair chance of playing this season, but if Ling is fit to play, then will that happen ?

Yeah come on guys, don't criticise him for slicing the ball into his own net from 5 yards out under no pressure. At least he was in the right place.

Really? sh*t in what way?
I've always thought that our streaming (when it's working) is absolutely fine?

Seriously, that sums up the difference between the two players. There's no way Ling would have tried that. The ball would have gone back to the keeper from that position.

What crazy logic from the club if true. Do they understand what we watched last season?

Think i heard they were gonna to use the next home friendly (whoever thats against) as the trail run for the full setup and what we'll get for the first game.
Guessing that they are worried that if people have bad experiences whilst its being set up then they wont pay for it when its live.

I agree because what I’ve seen of Ling he’s simply not good enough for this level
Thought he spoke well. Looks frustrated with the performance. Disappointed that Brophy will be playing at left back but it looks like we won’t be replacing Marv or adding to the squad, so we’ll be seeing him at left back, Dayton in the middle and Ruel wide left. Square pegs in round holes. He really isn’t being given the tools he needs, feel sorry for the bloke.

Anyone digging them out for not getting a centre back in, Have you thought that due to lack of income we might not actually be able to afford one.

We had one that we were apparently trying to re-sign...

Didn't say it does excuse Ling. Ling is terrible, I think we all know that. Widdowson is actually a decent defender...at left back or on the left of a back three. He is not and never will be a competent central defender in a two.

(On squad rotation and versatility): "for people like Shadrach, it's an eye-opener tonight, you're in a first-team environment but you get punished by boys of a similar age. We need to make sure that we expose those boys, but understand that at the same there's gonna be shortfalls, and it's my job and the staff's job and the more experienced players around us to help educate them and try keep them improving".
That's not Rоss "digging out" anyone, to me. Rоss hasn't mentioned specific mistakes on Shadrach's part, he's talking about the generality of those younger players "like Shadrach" getting beaten by an U-23 side.
