Enjoyed the game. Jobi looks good. All our forwards look good, wow can’t say that very often. Judd and Wilkinson did well for the last 30 minutes. Thought Widdowson was Solid and Wright better than normal going forward.

Against U23s so hard to really judge. But both goals conceded from poor defensive play. But early days.

One thing about Wright is he often plays the ball first time which puts us on the front foot but means he’ll lose possession sometimes. Cisse looks impressive, thought it was Pogba 😳

Thought Ruel Sotiriou did really well winning the ball back for the fourth goal, driving forward and feeding Angol who scored - Thats why he plays as a wide forward, he does the dirty side of the game well and is capable of carrying the ball forward.

There’s a surprise
Had nothing to do with us losing the ball in midfield or anyone in
Midfield putting a tackle in

Oh look its the usual hate brigade
Gshaw & Biggsysunderpants
Or just a level head not getting all giddy because we beat a bunch of weak Spurs kids.

Tonight was about JE and JE3 Foundation, football was a nice side show

And he has to have Bruno Fernandes next to him to look good. Cisse has Craig Clay!

Wasnt it about building team fitness as well ?
Giddy head or not ?

Sounds like a good run out for the boys and we put away another young team. Hopefully good prep for playing men’s teams.

Yup absolutely, in friendlies if the players all get a decent run out with no injuries job done but this one had a more poignant reason behind it. Glad club showed the presentation at the end, nice touch

Back 4 at times were at sixes and sevens. Much better when the 2nd side came on.

Typical friendly game between a premier U23 team who pass the ball to death and lacked physicallity against a 2nd division team who capitalised on some good long balls for a couple of goals and also used thier strengths to play some decent football. Angol, JMD, Wilkinson looked good of the forwards and Johnson's goal was the type of a decent poacher. In the second half Judd, Ciss, Wright also played well.
Someone mentioned Ogie not being ready which may be the case but i can only remember one miss-pass and i saw more positives than negatives.

We were 4-2 up by then & the game was done .
Spurs then brought on there lesser players so was always going to be easier

Actually yeah, as others have said Wright should get a mention too. He’s much better played up the field, was looking to go forward all the time rather than his usual sideways guff.

Which is exactly what I was saying last season. Get him on the ball closer to goal and link the play up cos he rarely gives it away and he can score to boot.

Just changes so much having a player like cisse in there meaning players like Wright can afford to get forward.

I think Embleton is going to have a real selection headache, when the real matches come along. A lot of the players looked very good last night, albeit its a friendly.
Wright, Cisse, Clay, looked very good, as did Wilkinson, Angol, & Johnson up front. Sotiriou is wasted playing out wide IMO, and is a central striker, all day long.
Judd was excellent, as was JMD.
They all cant play.......some wont even make the bench.
Im hopeful for the new season, but we really need a quality CB

I agree with the above but I keep reminding myself that the bigger test will be against Northampton on Saturday. Spurs had little threat upfront albeit they scored 2 when we relaxed at 3-0 up.

What was good to see was both Judd and Ling working harder at getting forward in attack. This is imperative IMO.

Wright would try and get forward regardless.

What having Cisse in there does is stop us getting ripped apart through the middle when we don't have the ball.
