Of the few coppers I know - some very well - you really wouldn’t choose them to be police officers, if you had a say in the matter.

Looks ok to me. Plus pension benefits after a number of years service. What age do police get a full pension? Quite young I think.

Young and the pensions are sizeable. It’s one of the big perks of being in the police.

As a starting salary plus in London and other cities I believe further allowances are given. And with Ample opportunity to increase it. Compared to other professions I guess you need to look at entry qualification requirements.

Those figures are based on likelihood of death at work which is of value obviously

I'd imagine the Most dangerous by likelihood of being assaulted at work would be a separate list entirely (except for maybe refuse collector)
