You have to play the game out to see if you beat the banker .

Because you theoretically play to the end. And now you're pissed off cos you took £24,000 and could've had £33,000 and there's still the chance that your box has £75,000 or £250,000 in it.

Did they not show this in Scotland? It would've been on straight after "Take the High Road".

Oh I see. So it's not an offer, then. It's just a number he uses to make me feel good or bad (presumably it's calculated)

Lose 5,7,16

It's just "High Road" now, everything's wrong nowadays.

Jeez. That's bad. I refused to watch Emmerdale after they ditched the "Farm".

Anyway, back to the game.

Spike's final 3 picks.

Box 5 - Further disaster - £10.00

"Come on Spike" shouts a man who's brought a drum with him.

Box 7 - much better - he's found £75,000!

His last pick - he needs the £250,000........

box 16.......... Oh no - it's 1p. This is dreadful.......

Here's out state of play:

£100

£250,000

Box numbers left - 18, Spike is holding Box No 3.

Bankers offer............... £78,000

Spike - it's been a decent day out but you dealt too early and could've walked away with a guaranteed £78,000 - £54,000 more than you dealt for. You now have one final choice - you can open your box or swap it for Box 18. To remind you, your box has either £10 or £250,000 in it. The choice is yours - swap or no swap?

He's chosen to swap.....

Box 3 is opened - utter f*cking nosebag - box No 3 had £250,000 in it!! He missed the opportunity to hold his box, tell the banker to f*** off and waltz away with £250,000......

Just for confirmation - box 18 is opened - £100.00

Still, he goes back with £24,000 in his pocket. Thanks for playing StillSpike.

Ron - you in the chair?

Hawd on, so if I hadn't swapped, I'd have got to keep the £250 K even tho I'd dealt?

No. You dealt at £24,000. What you wanted after that was for your box to have a low number in it and the banker not to increase his offer.

Sadly, you had the jackpot box from the off but bailed out. You then have to suffer sitting there and finding out that you could've won much more.
