This incompetent govt deserves all the flack that’s coming their way but let’s not rewrite history here
What a ridiculous comparison. He couldn't answer because his party was split enough already on that issue. It was for political reasons he did not reply not incompentence. Anyway it was a secret ballot.
My point was that Jezza was a weak leader who struggled to make decisions.

I’ve no doubt his heart would be in the right place, but it means nothing if you don’t have the competence
You know who wold have made decisions? Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov, that's who. Happy birthday mucker.

And lo and behold, it appears that one of the "scientists" on the panel was - - - - - Dominic Cummings !

So the Government gets to say "we're following the science" and abdicates responsibility, while doing exactly what this special advisor wants

Nah, they're doing a great job. Just ask some of the Tories on here.

I've suspected this for some weeks now. Why was the UK so very different from other countries in the early response to the crisis. Why would our circumstances be different to mainland Europe? Were OUR scientists better that theirs - surely science is science, isn't it?

Now we know. f*cking fannies

Easy there. Although they may be a bit maverick, I have faith in our better classes. Got to think of the bigger picture. Let's not forget how much worse things could've been had Corbyn won GE19.

Exactly.

Heh

Some of these "better classes" should be twitching at the end of a rope for what they've done. Still mind-bottling that some will try to defend them.

Why were you only suspecting it?

It was apparent very early on that the economy trumped human life (from 200 years ago) and that the Tory zealots were willing to sacrifice human life.

For them it was only a question of how many oldies was manageable and the rest could be explained away.

That is the rawness of the ruling party who normally get to hide behind a sychophantic press covering their bad deeds.

We have now seen their lies day after day. "Fighting a war" against the Virus when they spent 10 years depleting the NHS to fight the one thing that faced us as a nation - a "Pandemic". The one thing they knew would come and should be prepared for, properly.

They "fight" the pandemic having left us all exposed to it by their cost cutting and the front line workers in this war don't have the equipment (sound familiar all you militarists) to properly fight it and survive.
