Yep. I have time to think.

Purely my anecdotal evidence but It definitely seems a bit busier on the roads this week than last and more people out and about in shopping areas then there has been. (I'm dropping off ppe and supplies, not having a cruise around). Also seemed to be more police around yesterday and saw for the first time three or four lots in groups who looked like they were doing some stopping and asking people what they were doing.

I'm very grateful for having a job where I am still out and about every day. For people in cramped or overcrowded housing with no outside space it must be awful, perhaps they should be getting dispensation to sit in the parks.

If a cabbie hides in St Andrew's Church, while a couple of accountants out on 'date night' stroll by on their way to Whispers, does he make a sound?

Yes. A sort of squelchy, panting sound.

Again, anecdotally but I'm on a main road and it's definitely getting quieter over night/early in the morning.

The lockdown has been in place for 3 and a half weeks mate. Hardly immediate
The lockdown was enforced with immediate effect and people were expected to change their habits with immediate effect.

Again, 3 weeks in and i don't see many people breaking it. There's always gonna be some idiots but again, the point still stands. 3 and a half weeks to adapt to something that none of us have had to do in 30, 40, 50 years of our lives is an incredibly short amount of time.
Doesn’t matter if it’s a minority, the numbers are still significant enough for it to put people’s lives at risk, such is the contagiousness of the virus.

So what’s your solution mate? It isn’t an easy change to make, but having sympathy with others in a crisis doesn’t stop people dying...
Any evidence that the amount of people out is significant enough? aside from the daily fail saying that everyones at the beach or the government trying to spin that they've had to enforce more measures because people aren't paying attention?

Whats my solution to what? Stopping a handful of people going out...i don't think there is one, whats yours?

Far, far more people are complying with this than the government had expected and modelled for apparently.

I think that many people are genuinely frightened Maxy of picking up this god awful disease.
15,000 people dead in 6 weeks in the UK alone, and to see patients struggling to breathe in hospital scares me to be honest.
The problem that the government may have is getting people to go out after lockdown is eased and carry on with their life as before ‘cos they’re scared.

Actually it does matter. Only need 80% of people to follow it for it to be effective

This is a massive problem and most people can't or don't want to see it.

I'm also uneasy with how gleefully the Police have embraced this opportunity for them to misinterpret legislation and weild their authority. The sinister Terretorial Support Group has been right in the thick of it too.

And then the Met leadership demonstrates zero self-awareness by leading the applause on Westminster Bridge on Thursday night while surrounded by crowds.

Don't worry dunners when this is all over they will still have their powers as nothing ever if rarely gets rolled back. We are moving closer to a police and authoritarian state.

only been out once.
my wife had 5 nurses uniforms when she was in service
we phoned a care home to see if they wanted them they bit her hand off
with gratitude apparently they had no dresses for new staff.
felt good going out for a ride ending with a good deed.nice.

Care homes take anything for free, means more profit for the owners. Should have offered them to the NHS.

come on Ron its not about the owners
people that work in care homes are just as important
you may need them one day.

Of course the people that work in care homes are important.

How does giving the owners free uniforms so they don’t have to buy some help anyone, other than saving those owners a few quid?
