Plus (from the other thread), we've still got the following players contracted for next year:
Wright
Clay
Vigouroux
Angol
Widdowson
Wilkinson
Dennis
JMD
Dayton (possibly)
That list looks expensive to me already.

Dayton contract was for 1 year so it will expire 30/6 and there is no way he deserves another one based on his performances this year, or lack of.

This is quite the overreaction. We’re a lower mid-table side and got a typical lower mid-table result yesterday. Some fans need to temper their expectations in what is quite clearly a period of transition for us
I agree we are a mid table side.
But we shouldn’t be.

As the squad is capable of so much more and with a top manager we’d have been top 3 without a shadow of doubt.

Very respectfully disagree mate. It was always gonna be a difficult season after the tragic events of last summer and I don’t think the squad we have right now is good enough for much more than a mid-table finish

AW get yourself over there and support the team. Hopefully we will be better on tuesday as I hope they have been absolutely blasted after that performance and tuesday sees the bounce back from that.
Yes they should have been blasted, but it all seems much too pally to me. Can you really see Embleton blasting anyone?

From all accounts, after a bad first half, Fergie could be rather prone to throwing the tea cups around, Ross in contrast, could well imagine busying himself by making the tea !

Says it all about our creativity this season, and not for the first time. Macclesfield had more shots on target (4-2) than us. Playing away as well..
