Thing I can't get is why the communications have been so poor.

If Webb was sick and absent from the bench, just say it.

If Webb did something bad, just say it. The club put out a statement about Elokobi not meeting club standards of behaviour the next day when it was easier to cover up (he was not good enough, so it would be less of a surprise if he did not make the bench).

Webb's been an employee of the club for what, 8 or 9 years. I like him, aside from a few poor comments (ie Cisak) I thought he was pretty good under extreme pressure. And IMO, his promotion to the first team last year was at Justin's choice, in order to dilute Embleton and Ling a bit. With him with the clipboard and earpiece, he looked more of a real assistant than Ross did.

How do you know why he was promoted? Making things up as usual.

Davis failed
Justin an absolute legend
Embleton as interim failed
Fletch failed
Embleton as interim failed
Embleton as head coach the jury is out

Ling is scared to fail once more. I bet some of these players in the lists of 10 per role did not want to come due to all the uncertainty around the club and the head coach role. Also many would not want to play for lingleton either.
This thread is about Webb, not for you to dribble on about Ling.

This is tosh.

Watch that first interview post Fletcher back. He wanted the job. And I can understand why.

If your happy to take second best, if you’re happy to stay struggling in league two, if your happy to watch the dross we’ve had to watch this season. Then crack on then. I want to win, I want to be entertained and I want to be the best.

Ha, imagine it! Three pages of nonsence when it turns out that he had the flu.

(it's true though that he's left).

It’s being said on the other board that Danny has been placed on gardening leave, anyone know if this is true?

Listening to the podcast at guys they are the ones who have said it. They said an altercation happened in the dressing room against northampton. Seems posters above were right as I guess the podcast guys are in the know.

Shame really.

The podcast boys won't be discussing it unless 1) it's true and 2) the club are happy for them to discuss it.

Was told Ross & Webb had an argument at half time on Tuesday in front of the players. Ling stepped in & then Webb had an argument with him.
Ling reported all this to Kent & he sacked him there & then, so sounds like he will be doing some gardening but not on the clubs terms.

If that's what happened then it makes me think that ML isn't quite as sweet and cuddly as some might think. He must have known that taking this upstairs to Kent would only have one outcome.

Lingy should have the power and the balls to make that call on his own.

If this is true, Webb is bang out of order.
