Does that mean they should just have ignored Justins death & the way the staff & players
were linked, then just ignored Justins Family ?
Justin’s legacy would be to keep us in the League.
Sadly with RE we have someone who by his own admission has never played football, a nice man he may be a good coach he may be, but as a manager absolutely clueless!
Do you really want to see us relegated because of sentiment?
We will not be relegated this season.
Trust me i know.
I really do pray to God you're right tuiffers but it's difficult to share in your optimism .

I am Right .
I was Right last year when before the season started i said we would be promoted.
I was right when i called Hendon out for lying .
He said we would win the league & after a great 5 game unbeaten run
We were ripped apart by Exeter & others.
Des said we needed Jay Simpson last year .
Others said we needed a CM in January to get promoted last year .
Look at the Facts .
If i say it it means its happening .
If i dont say it , it means im not sure or its not happening.

Well that's a stupid question. Wasn't expecting such drivel from you.
Of course we shouldn't have done any of the things you suggest that would have been wrong and disrespectful.
But we should have put sentiment to one side when appointing a new manager in the summer. However, hard that decision may have been.
Sentiment ?
Dont be Stupid Max
Thats why we didnt put it aside because its not sentiment
It was unadulterated GRIEF
Or did you not go near the place when everyone was signing books or
other clubs were honouring JE ?
Yet you still bang on about "Major errors in not understanding buisness."
Makes me think you have very little understanding of LIFE
either that or you have very little compassion in your body.
I know you’re a wind-up but I’ll humour you anyway. LOFC is a business and there’s no room for sentiment. We are, in theory and probably in practice, two defeats away from being bottom of the division. This isn’t a f*cking joke. Those in charge have to take responsibility in appointing a man who only a few months ago said in public that he wasn’t up to the job. That had been clear to all of us since last August, but they still went ahead with it. If they f*** this season up then it’ll be on their heads. They’re taking the piss by relying on our unquestioning support, and frankly they’ve already lost mine.
I don’t give a toss if RE is a lovely guy who adopts stray kittens in his spare time, the fact is that he’s not up to it. The squad we have is massively underperforming and it needs a decent EXPERIENCED manager to come in, grab the players by the scruff of the neck and tell them to sort themselves out and start acting like professionals. Embleton is too tied up with the current squad and hasn’t got the balls to tell it like it is. I can understand why that is, but it means we aren’t going anywhere but down while he’s in charge. What really infuriated me tonight is the idea that the board have appointed RE in the hope that we muddle through the rest of the season in the hope that there is another club who’ll be worse than us, and that we’ll avoid relegation and that the fans will keep turning up for home games, and right now that seems a long shot. I don’t know if I can be arsed to turn up on Tuesday night myself at this rate, and I won’t be the only one.

If Football is a Buisness & there is no room For sentiment then why did
we have books of condolences shirts & flowers by the dug outs etc etc .
Why did we bother with the pre match celebrations of JE's life .
Why did Josh Coulson run up to the tecnical area to grab the shirt Josh wright held upto
The Edinburgh family members with the no3 on the back & the name Edinburgh ?
Because of Sentiment not Buisness.
Are you sure you are not the wind up merchant , i guarentee you i am not.

Yes, there's room for sentiment. But it can't go on forever. At the moment, sentiment looks like it's taking us back to the National League.
There's no way JE (or his family) would want that.
We should not be in anyway surprised that simply striking out 'Interim' from Ross' job title has made no difference to performances whatsoever.

At the moment we have 5 teams below us
All in a shocking state .
So 6 teams including us plus 3 teams above us with less than 30 points .
Considering what happened in June last year i think its f*cking amazing we are where we are & not bottom of the league 5 points adrift of stevenage .
Give people some credit for holding it together after 1 of the
most difficult times in this proud little clubs History.

After yet another disgraceful display of negative tactics by Embleton, 2 shots on target in the whole match surely it’s time to show the club that this is unacceptable by voting with your feet and Boycott home matches even if you have a season ticket until an experienced, proven Manager is put in place before we are relegated. We are now only 5 points away from relegation, if you truly care about our club show the owners that this cannot be allowed to happen.
WTF

Great contributions all round.
Back to the OP, I’ll still reluctantly drag myself along on Tuesday but totally understand if others can’t be bothered. It’s not just the results and the threat of relegation, it’s the total ineptitude in the way we set up.

Learn to trust fella.
You seem to have a good track record so OK. . Despite all the bullshit we both love the club so I know you understand why I'm currently so worried .

I will be there as I support my club, my team and it's the players that need our backing by showing them we care and believe in them. Only by being united as fans can we demonstrate that we are in this together. Booing and all that negative stuff just ends up being exactly that, negative.
Get behind the team cos its them that will determine our fate.
