I very much doubt that it was the guy screwing her that did the filming , faced with the evidence she retracted her claims of rape. Like everyone else on this board I wasn’t in the room at the time and haven’t viewed the evidence , the interviewing officers and the judge have though so I guess they are in a better position to make an informed decision. Talking of boycotting a country because of case blown out of all proportion is juvenile.

It surprises me how ignorant some readers and writers on this Board are. Perhaps they ought to travel a bit more. They certainly don't seem to be aware of how misogynistic Society can be in Eastern Mediterranean countries. I give an example: my Cypriot friend at work described his typical Christmas, family would come round, females would see to the meal, the men played cards, then dinner, after dinner the women cleared up, the men played cards etc etc. He had a British girlfriend at work ( my wife's best friend ), she was a sexual plaything, when he married it was to a Cypriot Virgin. He despised women who gave their favours. This is an attitude I have seen time and time again. Israels although of a different Religion have the same mores. They really don't understand British women. I would advise any British women holidaying without males in Southern Countries to exercise extreme caution. I would advise any family not to go alone.

But really, you have no idea of, and no right to imply, any views any of us named above have on sexual matters. More importantly you seem to be suggesting that the young girl in this case got what she deserved by being an easy lay. Her sexual proclivities are hers and hers alone. You have zero right to judge her on this (in reality you have no idea what she's like anyway). It has zero bearing on this rape case and just shows you up as the narrow-minded, prudish, nasty piece of work you are. You truly disgust me.
