Not sure quite why everyone’s getting themselves so worked up on this one. HMM - We’ve never had a cross word and I think my record speaks for itself over 5 years of modding / admin - very rarely have I stuck my head over the parapet.

However, Maffys spent a long time honing what had become a fairly unpleasant contrarian position purely for wumming purposes. Make no mistake, he knew exactly what he was doing. My discussion with him on the labour thread a few months ago summed him up perfectly.

His flounce in reaction to having his username changed demonstrates exactly what he is. All I’ve done is changed his username to reflect his posting at that time - if he really is this boardroom tough guy he portrayed himself as surely he could shrug that off or argue his point? Instead, he’s shuffled off to Mungos and bitches from afar. Ask yourself - why is this?

We can’t have unpleasant contrarian position takers here unless they are appointed as ‘moderators’.
