Re: Where's Diane Abbott?
That one was from yesterday when Miss Abbott was dressed correctly. The photo from today was posted on her colleagues, who she was supporting this morning Meg Hillier, Twitter. Miss Hillier has now deleted her original photo. So the fake news shout turned out to be fake.

About 50p ya toff.StillSpike wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 10:58 am It's also worth noting that, especially on TV, the very nature of journalism seems to be changing. There seems to be this constant need for a "gotcha" moment - even relatively innocuous interviews now have an edge where the interviewer is trying to trip up the interviewee to get the "moment", rather than to explore the subject.
Some interviewers seem to be more interested in their own profile that getting to "the truth".
I don't know the price of a pint of milk - so why should Boris Johnson, for example?

Re: Where's Diane Abbott?
You obviously didn’t follow the tweets below, cos the picture is real, there are others where she’s wearing odd shoes and both left footed.
It’s genuinely funny, yet labour supporters are going in to meltdown over her error!

Re: Where's Diane Abbott?
Come on tuffers it’s a bit of fun! How the hell does someone go out with two left feet on and two different shoes? The Labour mp she was supporting posted the picture so unless she photoshopped it herself.....tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 4:50 pmFunny How Throy boy is picking up on photshopped fake news photos &StillSpike wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 4:21 pmOh no ! Now on to your other points.
Police cuts, I’ve been very vocal on the calamity that was may as Home Secretary, I didn’t agree with the cuts then and I still think they were wrong now. You’ve read my posts about wanting drugs wiped out, tougher and longer sentences for Serious crimes. It’s all on here and I’ve said it enough.
Homelessness I’ve called for more home building by councils and I hope that this becomes a reality and we can house our people in this country. As you may recall I’ve volunteered at a homeless shelter in walthamstow which is over an hour from where I live cos it’s where I grew up, cos I want to help and try to make a difference. No matter how small that might be.
Nhs the greatest gift this country was given by labour, no argument. I don’t want it privatised, I want shorter wait times in a&e, I want people operated on quicker, I want more nurses and doctors and I want it now. Funding is at an all time high right now, yet it’s still not enough, waste needs to be eradicated, from the thread yesterday more beds are required. I want a first class nhs and it needs modernising for want of a better word.
The poor. Opportunity exists for all and there’s is no reason why anyone can’t be successful of that I’m certain. I don’t look at people with more than me and be all jealous or envious, I say well done you and good luck. I’ll try to work harder and smarter To further myself. I do agree that the elite want to keep people down, but it does not set out to stop anyone from achieving. Sometimes people just need a chance, a helping hand, but they also need to want to do it as well.

Re: Where's Diane Abbott?
Can you not see the irony in this?
She could be Home Secretary, and she goes out wearing two left feet, if she can’t dress herself, if she can’t understand that she has both odd shoes and two left feet on them I’m sorry she is not for for office.

Yep I get that Thor. How you dress is by far the most important criteria for high office. I'm a scruffy b*stard and that's the only reason I'm not running the Country.

Why not have a home secretary instead who reduces police numbers by 20 000?

Re: Where's Diane Abbott?
To be fair to Diane she was going to recruit extra police and pay them 500 quid each per year! Why did May cut police numbers? Well that would be due to the last Labour gov't leaving the country with no money.Disoriented wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 8:24 pmWhy not have a home secretary instead who reduces police numbers by 20 000?

Re: Where's Diane Abbott?
Diane Abbott turned up at her polling station to cast her vote wearing two left shoes of a different design. What can you say about a wannabe Home Secretary who does something like that?

Stop spreading lies. It was real, it was posted by the Labour mp herself she was supporting. Stop lying.

I'm wondering if she's beginning to start suffering with an illness.Lovejoy wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:46 am Diane Abbott turned up at her polling station to cast her vote wearing two left shoes of a different design. What can you say about a wannabe Home Secretary who does something like that?
