Has he got the bottle to drop Coilson, Clay etc or to introduce some of the young professionals. Also we have Turley who I think would strengthen the defence. If available, it appears as though the team picks itself

Things do seem to bit too cosy for my liking.
Maybe I’m wrong but Ross does seem a bit too matey with the players and I feel that there should some distance between the Manager and players.
At present Josh is probably worth his place, it’s in midfield where new blood is needed.
Marvin and Happe with Turley at right back is an option in my mind and what about recalling Sotiriou from his loan, IF we can ??

He is / was too close to the players cos that was his role under Justin. All coaches have the ear of the players and in turn they feed in to the manager. It’s hard to separate from the players when your the coach and get promoted. If you look back in his early season interviews Ross even says that he relationship has changed and his behaviours as well and it’s be difficult getting used to the new role.

I also think that’s why he wants to be a number 2 cos he can still have that role with he players, have the banter etc. As a manager you really do remove yourself from it, yes you have a bit of banter, but there’s a line not to be crossed so the banter with the manager is different completely.

To me Justin had the right personality to be a Manager, having a bit of banter but also keeping the players at arms length and not afraid to upset players by dropping them when necessary.
Hopefully Ross becomes a bit more like a Manager as I don’t see anybody else coming in to replace him for a while.
