I for one am bedside myself with worry. I made the Wrexham promotion game despite my brother being killed in a motorcycle accident three days before the game. My grief subsided for the duration of the game but I was robbed of the ability to celebrate afterwards as my brother wasn't there to see it.
That was my last game in the East stand, where I would watch with my brother and I'm back there on Saturday.
It's not purely the odds of us getting the result we want. I've had to wait half a lifetime for another chance to celebrate at Brizzie and I'm just praying no one dies between now and Saturday to f*ck it up again.

Sorry for your loss, I know how devastating it is to lose a brother so I do feel for you. Come Sat I'm sure he will be with you and roaring the O's on to victory, its what he would have wanted.

I know my own dad will be there with me, I was with him in hospital as we were relegated listening to Soccer Saturday and as Jeff Stelling confirmed we had been relegated he started to take his last breaths. I'm sure he will be there on Sat as we breathe new life in to our club as we climb back to the football league.

I am at Whipps Cross tomorrow morning. If the prognosis is negative, there could be a spare...

... must admit radiographer made me think a lot last week after my chest x-ray when she said she hopes I am better as I left. Wouldn’t mind but it was merely my doctor sending me for a check on a persistent cough. Still hopefully the ENT department don’t say similar tomorrow...
Why would ENT be doing a chest xray ?
Chest x ray last week, ENT today. Haven't been to the doctors for a while, so they sent me for precautionary blood test, x ray and now head examination :-O
Well how did you get on RientO ?

All good for Saturday or are you putting ticket up for sale ?

Agreed as the week has gone on the nerves have started to linger.

Having said that, Edinburgh simply won’t allow this side to buckle. We’ve seen that countless times since he took charge. He’s instilled a mental belief in this side that we haven’t seen at the Os since Slade and 13/14. There’s a resilience there, even when we fall behind in games more often than not we’ve picked ourselves up and got something out of the game. Same can be said when we’ve come off the back of a poor result. Edinburgh is so good at motivating this group, there’s no doubt in my mind we’ll come out all guns blazing tomorrow which eases my nerves somewhat.

Further to this, as the weeks have gone on and players have come back to full fitness, I think it’s highlighted the outstanding squad we’ve put together. Our strength in depth has been a major part of our success this year and besides Dayton and Judd it’s a full roster to choose from tomorrow as far as I know. Think we’ll just have too much for Braintree honestly. In all honesty all of our bench tomorrow would probably walk into their first team. The gulf in class should hopefully show tomorrow

If we fall behind, it's not the team I'm worried about it's us who are watching!

Only one more sleep to go. Just hope I don't wet the bed tonight.
