I can’t. Theres not much help for you if you think someone calling Alabi useless is such a heinous crime.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 4:27 pmThanks, you've more or less said what I was going to say. Posting was not a heat of the moment comment after an on-field cock up. We all do that, even the players I’m sure, and worse. I heard a few choice comments when Wilkinson got sent off for example.
Posting on here was a cold calculated insult. Disgraceful.

Re: completely useless
Matt's playing well from the beginning of games ,never mind as impact sub and is making a real difference to our attack . Ross mentioned he should have used Matt more and regrets not doing so .

Definitely in the best form of his time with us and fully justifying the decision to extend his contract.

Re: completely useless
I wonder if not playing reserve games leads to some players not being fit. Alabi has not had much game time this season and that might explain why he looked unfit. Reserve games would also help players like Dayton get back to fitness.
Re: completely useless
Up until the Northampton game, I am sure that Alabi and Harrold have had the same amount of game time. Yet they have gone in different directions despite Harrold being 10 years older.
Harrold has done really well, still am a bit sceptical that he take an extended run of games, but hopefully Angol comes back within a month. He's been a bonus this season, quite a shame that in his career he never really got to play a bigger role for us.

Re: completely useless
Harrold is a far superior footballer to Alabi, which helps. He is hugely underrated as a footballer- technically he is decent, but his other qualities hide this a bit.
I don't think it was necessarily a case of Alabi being shot on Saturday. He did do a sustained chase for a good 30 seconds, and when the defender turned away from him he looked more resigned to not winning the ball than tired. I think tripping over the ball was more to do with talent than his physical condition.

Re: completely useless
That 30 seconds of chasing down 2 defenders done him in. He was spent after that. It’s ridiculous.Red_Army wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 12:52 pm Harrold is a far superior footballer to Alabi, which helps.
