Exactly. Just another grim sounding display. What a thoroughly unattractive side we are..Qin wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 5:00 pm I'll take the point, but as an attacking force we were terrible.
No one to carry the ball forward, no passing the ball forwards, just 60 yards hit and hope punts.
We got really lucky today, but this can't go on, it's an awful watch
Even after a good battling display today you can't let it rest .Token wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 6:49 pm Bradford really is a shitehole but glad I came. Was a decent battling performance today. Should’ve been down to 10 men though really.
It’s now reached the stage where the most important part of the match is when the team is announced and whether Nepoboy is gonna play
Good that he didn’t start but what was the point of him being there wasting a spot on the bench. Oyekunle was the obvious choice given Dane and Jaze both started.Token wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 6:49 pm

I'd rather we were an unattractive side and win a battling point to a team I think will win automatic promotion than be attractive and get batteredChief crazy horse wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 6:52 pmExactly. I can't remember the last time we restricted the opposition to 0 shots on target and to do it away to Bradford is impressive but it won't count for much unless we repeat that defensive intensity against Blackpool.Bandy Legs wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 5:06 pmBradford 0 shots on target to Orients 1 ,Qin wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 5:00 pm I'll take the point, but as an attacking force we were terrible.

both from 9 shots at goal !
Well it will if you only look at home results.Jeremy Bentham wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 7:59 pmI can't remember the last time we restricted the opposition to 0 shots on target and to do it away to Bradford is impressive but it won't count for much unless we repeat that defensive intensity against Blackpool.Bandy Legs wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 5:06 pmBradford 0 shots on target to Orients 1 ,Qin wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 5:00 pm I'll take the point, but as an attacking force we were terrible.

You're just looking at it as a one off result. On the face of it, yes, a good result getting a point against a side second in the table and away from home. But I'm looking at the bigger picture as to where we are going, and at the moment that's nowhere.By and large we have been serving up dross where for the majority of games it seems like the hardest thing in the world to even get a shot on target, never mind scoring a goal. If you think we are going somewhere with these drab displays, and because of the point today, then you are just deluding yourself. The players are quite good but the team isn't.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 7:19 pmI'd rather we were an unattractive side and win a battling point to a team I think will win automatic promotion than be attractive and get batteredChief crazy horse wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 6:52 pmExactly. Given where the team is - the results and recent performances - that was the only way we were going to get something today.Chief crazy horse wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 9:00 pmYou're just looking at it as a one off result. Thanks Chesthunto . It's just that after what we've been through i'm grateful for what we have now . We're Orient not Barcelona , we're always going to lose a fair amount of games so to get a hard fought draw yesterday to a team predicted win promotion this season is very pleasing .Cheshunto wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 12:45 pmSome fans are never happy Dwarfy,RedDwarf 1881 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 12:32 pmI'm season ticket holder thank you you professional whingerToken wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 12:37 am

It was a decent battling performance and it’s one that we could easily have lost but we restricted them to one good chance and fortunately they hit the bar. That apart Baxter didn’t have too much to do, I think the priority now is a couple of good home wins.
Are you sure you were in Bradford? It is a fantastic city with stunning architecture. There are 4,000 listed buildings.Token wrote: Sat Oct 10, 2026 6:49 pm Bradford really is a shitehole but glad I came. Was a decent battling performance today. Should’ve been down to 10 men though really.

You’ve obviously only been to the centre then. Tbf I always cheat at Bradford away as my mates sister lives there so we stay at hers. Not sure where I said I wasn’t happy with yesterdays result. Maybe it was a decent battling away performance precisely because we had 11 functional players on the pitchRedDwarf 1881 wrote: Sun Oct 11, 2026 1:01 pmThanks Chesthunto .
