Existing season ticket holders have until 6/7 May to renew, otherwise the ticket may become generally available.

My worry was that existing ST holders could be told they couldn't renew before then if the cap was breached.

I expect they’re already included in the cap. So there’s a smaller cap for new sales that may increase post the existing ST deadline.

Have I missed the bit on the website where we say we are capping season tickets this season? I was under the impression the cap has been done away with and we are trying to sell as many as possible this season hence the early start to selling them.

This isn’t correct. Season ticket holders have until 5pm on Friday to renew.

Suspect that would be realised easily if Championship football is secured. I reckon people would be moaning about missing out when the likely cap would be introduced.
The club will stop selling at around 4500. Same as last year
If they can sell 6,000 they will, all those tuesday games didn't help with extra finance
I don’t believe they will. Season tickets per match are roughly half the price they will get on the d ay. If we are playing well the games will be sold out.

It’s possible that the mad rush to sell the season tickets before this season is over is to do with the FFP rules that come in for next season.

Maybe this makes our income for the 2024/25 season much larger.

Think this is the case - I have seen no mention of a cap this season.

There is a cap, just not been articulated. From the official site:
Season Card sales will again be capped for 2025/26. The cap has been raised for next season, giving more supporters the chance to become Season Card Holders, whilst still giving plenty of fans the opportunity to attend games on a match-by-match basis during the 2025/26 season.

Not seen the wording but there's no way this money coming in will be 2024/25 season or 30/6/25 accounts income.

Thanks, I'd gone on the premise that they'd take a look at moving my son close to me (we are distanced, long story) on 6/7th that it was immediately after the deadline.

Get in touch now and see if they can do anything once tomorrows deadline is up rather than waiting.

I am already in touch, but thanks. They know where me and my pals sit and are on the lookout for any non-renewals. If the worst comes to the worst he sits 2 rows behind again.
