Didnt the ACV (Asset of Community Value) prevent the ground from being used as anything other than a sporting venue? and how long do those things last anyway?
If we've been relocated, pretty sure that will be removed without too much trouble. And has been said above, it's likely to be part of any deal struck.
How long is our lease on the ground?
20 year lease on Brisbane Road from Aug 2023, although I’m sure Bazza would be delighted at the prospect of concreting the lot over
Lea Bridge road developments have been changed during January 2025 to Orient way, Argyll way & Lea bridge road . Not sure if makes any difference to the Club

, the club has had to contend with issues such as the stadium’s capacity, age, and the desire for modern facilities.
If Leyton Orient were to relocate, several potential areas could be considered within East London or nearby areas, keeping in mind the club’s historic ties to Leyton and the surrounding area. Here are a few possible locations for relocation:
1. Stratford:
• Located close to Leyton, this area has seen major redevelopment due to the 2012 Olympics, with the London Stadium (formerly the Olympic Stadium) already serving as the home for West Ham United. It is a transport hub and has modern infrastructure, making it a convenient location for both fans and the club. There could be the opportunity to build a smaller, more club-specific stadium or share space with other facilities.
2. Hackney Wick:
• Situated near the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford, Hackney Wick is an up-and-coming area with potential for development. It is close to transport links and offers proximity to Leyton, though this area would require significant investment in infrastructure to make it a viable option for a football stadium.
3. Walthamstow:
• Another nearby area with room for expansion and development. Walthamstow is close enough to Leyton to retain fan loyalty while also benefiting from larger areas for potential stadium construction. With ongoing regeneration in the area, this could be an attractive option.
4. Ilford:
• Situated a little further out, but still within Greater London, Ilford is another area that could be explored. It offers ample space for a new stadium and good transport links into Central London, though it would require a fanbase adjustment due to the distance from Leyton.
5. Custom House / Royal Docks:
• This area has also undergone significant redevelopment and could offer a large plot of land for building a new stadium. It’s situated near the Thames and could be an attractive area, given the ongoing transformation of the Royal Docks and Custom House areas.
Each of these areas would require significant investment in infrastructure and the club would have to carefully consider how it would maintain its connection to Leyton and its fanbase. Relocation would also depend on local council support, planning permissions, and the feasibility of securing land and financing for the new stadium.
