That Collins has been too hot for us to handle second half. Tough one to take, all hinged on Cooper going off injured really

It happens, winning Tuesday meant this didn’t really matter when it came to
Playoffs and Stockport and Huddersfield losing meant we aren’t really worse off.

Second best all game really. Tough to take but should bring a few down to earth.

We were robbed today.
The penalty was never a penalty.
There was the slightest of contacts, and the guy just threw himself over and the referee was totally influenced by a big aggressive home crowd.
I absolutely guarantee if the same incident had happened to one of our players in the other box, no way would he have given us a penalty.

All over - great shame with all the slip ups above us. I was wondering when the last time in the L1 we were awarded a penalty. Always a cruel way to win. Never mind there's only Birmingham next! Up the O's!!!!

Looks like injuries are going to set Os back in this recent promotion run.
Who would ever think that you could have 4 centre halves injured ?

It's good for Bolton & Charlton, Wrexham won't be unhappy either. Need 4 points from the next 2 to keep the pressure on around us.

You couldn't make it up, we get a good strong attack at last then the defence which is usually strength in depth drops like flies.

Cooper going off was the watershed moment - no CB to replace him left us open at the back. I thought it was a pen for them - a clumsy tackle which their guy milked - but we would have done the same. Other concern is the number of yellows Keely has got. He must be close to a ban and that will really screw us.

Neither of those teams affect us though. After Charlton we have 10 games against middling or crap teams - if we want to get in the playoffs it’s down to us. Get enough points and we are in

Seems like every time cooper starts he goes off injured. Time to replace him in the summer

Kinda surprised RW didn't put Brown at CB rather than Sweeney

We've just lost to Bolton, lose against Birmingham & lose to Charlton that's 0 points from 9 & gives 2 play off rivals 3 points each while we would get nothing.
We'd be out of the play offs & down to 8th.
How do they not affect us?

We what we win every game until the end of time?

We weren’t going to win every game (despite what some on here say). The fact we got 9 points from 9 before got us where we are and are the reason these are more “pressurised”. Let’s see what happens on tues and Saturday before writing us off.

As I say, these games will not be the ones that get us in the playoffs or not.

Possibly, but we’ll never know how that would have worked out. Sweeney grew into the role but they caught out our newly established defence before they’d got themselves sorted out.

Yep 💯 agree gshaw, Collins coming on for 2nd half and Bolton changing formation to 4-4-2, combined with Copper going off changed the game.
Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and take defeat on the chin and move on to next game.

Opportunity missed with Wycombe drawing, Stockport n Huddersfield both losing, but on the positive we didn’t lose ground on teams above.

Charlton n Bolton were the big winners today.

Birmingham away in Tuesday will be even tougher, but the big game is Charlton back at Brisbane road, they are flying, so we need to and will beat Charlton 💪🏻

1 Then say that.
2 Games v Bolton & Charlton do affect us
3 who mentioned winning all games to the end of time?
4 Rotherham a Northampton h Blackpool a Mansfield a
Stevenage h middling & Crap teams is where we've historically fallen.
I know Richie says we're no longer Little Leyton Orient, But Bolton & Charlton are still way bigger than us.

We've got to fight for every point.

Bandy legs what was your old alias - half empty or Mr Negative, certainly no optimism from you.
We've lost 2 games in 15 and the way your talking as if the world's going to end.
We've lost four CBs.
Bolton have scored an equaliser because Sweeney was settling into a position he's never played in before & We've lost to a soft penalty to a decent side & because of this your basically saying our season is over.
Wonder you were before Bandy but I got hazard a guess as your so Negative.
Watch out for that black cloud above your house whilst you drink your half empty pint.

we've had a poor performance here and there on the run, we go again on tuesday and give it our all. Some thought the Stockport game was the end of our purple patch but it just has continued. Back the players, back the manager, yes today was poor but we are still 6th and after brum away and charlton at home we have an easy run of games which we are more than good enough to win most and get playoffs. Up the Os

We’d be comfortably in the play off places and not far off 2nd if Zach Hemming wasn’t our number 1 for so long.

Today’s loss isn’t a season definer.
