I am so proud of our team, they gave City a real game and did not roll over as many other teams would have done. Well done. Forever Leyton Orient. :lofc: :lofc:

I'm very proud of all our players today . They all played great and gave everything they had . I can't ask for more than that . Also , if Keeley and Donley don't end up playing for the Tottenham first team I'd be amazed . My only concern is will they be recovered enough for Tuesday night .

Didn't go into ET so shouldn't be too much different to a standard Saturday game. Got 4 new fresh players to come in plus Agyei back available.

Just back. Credit to everyone of the players and pitch-side management today, you did us all proud.

Galbraith and Donley have added a million to their valuations and Keeley half a million and hopefully the day has added a million or more to the bank balance.

Also, respect to Man City. Grealish went and shook the hand of every Os player; the City fans applauded the Os players as they went past their section and Pep raised his arms and clapped the stands and the Os fans in them.

De Bruyne walked off almost straight after the ref blew the full-time whistle. I don't think he even applauded his own fans. I could call him something, but I won't denigrate myself to do that.

This afternoon will live in the memory.

Your man Kelman has improved so much this season. He played with great energy today, on his own up front most of the time but always kept the City defenders on their toes. He just needs to improve upon his finishing to be the real deal.

Yup really pleased for him, Charlie puts everything on the line and he looked a real handful for the Citeh defenders today. Now to smash that 20 goal target :lofc:

Everyone was outstanding today but f***ing hell, Kelman was sensational. Ran a £100 million pound defence ragged in his own.

Don’t know why there’s so many people being “proud” of them after this result. If you’d actually bought into RW and the quality they can have, going toe to toe with anyone is not a surprise.

I noticed the “Kilmarnock Os” flag was back in its attention seeking place. I remember when they were screaming and shouting at what a disgrace the team were and having a go at those who darwd to clap the players off when they lost at home to Derby 3-0 down to 10 men a year ago.

There’s a lot of people who need to keep quiet tonight and let those who have continuously supported this group of players celebrate.

The club is in a great place right now, long may it continue.

He fact they had to bring on stones and change their two CBs at half time is mental

Have watched it back, for my sins.

Obviously City were the better team and had much more quality. They should have had a pen and Cooper could easily have been sent off. But the number of chances we created was incredible and Happe should have buried his opportunity at the end. Their first goal was a proper fluke and their second came during what was a pretty comfortable period for us. That it took £150m of talent to link up like that is a huge credit to the way we defended.

Kelman was incredible, he worked their defence brilliantly. Galbraith and Currie outstanding, Happe and Simpson superb, DJ even stepped up.

Am really surprised at how ragged City were at the end. Once we went behind I thought that was it but they invited pressure and were lucky to get away with a combination of poor finishing and some desperate blocks.

Great day, stadium was bouncing, a goal that will be remembered as one of the great moments. Wellens is an all time Orient legend for what he's done at this club.

f*** Grealish. He spent the afternoon whining at the officials about the non-existent rough treatment he was getting from our hard men Galbraith, Perkins and TJ, trying to get our players booked.

Would have been a different reaction from him had they not scraped through.

Thought the slide tackle (Simpson?) was a pen in real time, not seen it back yet.

Why was Coopet at risk of a red? Can’t remember any fouls other than the blatant yellow for the trip.

Bitter about what? I support the club even when things are sh*t. The same people calling for the manager and the board’s heads 4 months ago are banging on about about how ‘proud’ they are. f*** off. If you can’t get behind them when there’s a tough run of games, you don’t get moments like today

Spiteful against who exactly? A lot of short memories in this fanbase and on this forum. The players deserve better every week.

Orient being capable of the performance today wasn’t a surprise to those who actually watch games. When they all work hard and buy into RW, results like today can happen.
