I don't like Starmer, but still voted Labour to try and get rid of the scummy Tories. Labour have made way too many mistakes so far but the weight of criticism from the Media outlets and Social media channels is frankly ridiculous and completely disproportionate to his and Labours performance. It's an orchestrated attack on a democratically elected head of state.

Finally, would those members of the public currently villifying Starmer really want the Tories back?
Of course the criticism is ridiculous and disproportionate. What did anyone expect?

The people signing this will be the ex-Tory voters who voted for Reform this time.

Vast majority of constituencies have a four figure number of signatories, only a few have 3 figures. Seems a bit unusual to me. Almost as if bots are ensuring they spread their vote around.

Even 650 people in the outer hebrides constituency of 'Na h-Eileanan an Iar' put their name down.

I wonder if such data exists for the previously mentioned remoaner petitions. Would be interesting to see if that follows similar spreads, or more closely follows the geographic split in the Referendum
2nd referendum 4,150,000

Revoke article 50 6,203,056

Certainly none from Peru, Ethiopia,Eritrea,Serbia etc as this new thing seems to have

DId you miss the budget? Numerous industries saying it will stifle investment, lead to job losses and lead to rate rises.

Did you ,it’s the Farmers protesting last week?
All because both will have to pay their way and they're not used to it. Of course they're complaining
Farmers pay their way especially in hard work. They are the backbone of the country.

The CBI reported negatively on her Budget too.

Last week Starmer single-handedly upset the Russians, the Chinese snd the Israelis within a few days of each other.

It is no good harping on about what the other lot did or did not do but to deliver the ‘change’ promised.

They are now attacking those on sickness benefits having already done the pensioners. There is this petition going round which he is dismissing but could indicate a level of potential unrest should this negativity from his party continue. Reeves receipt about her CV is really concerning too.

Maybe because people are only signing it once and not cheating by signing it multiple times. ;)

I'd rather they just paid their way in taxes like the rest of us, thanks.

In the days when farmers ploughed the fields with a donkey's jaw bone pulled by 2 shire horses, it was indeed hard work. Nowadays they sit in a half million pound tractor with a consul like the SS Enterprise and sip lattes while the machinery does the work

But this is part of their point. How much do these new tractors cost to buy .

If you can't afford one don't do farming.

Reality is that on many tenanted farms and small and medium sized farms, they rent the expensive machinery for short periods during ploughing, harvest etc.

What is part of their point? Machinery is expensive so they shouldn't have to pay tax? Eh? What?
