As far as I'm concerned it's already game over . We simply have no cutting edge .

Men v boys in 2nd half
Lincoln gone up a gear, this game is beyond us now as we don’t look like and won’t score, so it’s game over.
Sadly we look like a team fighting relegation.
Lack confidence, belief and more importantly any attacking threat.
Very very poor!

We seem like a team of mostly capable, younger, technically sound players - with a glaring lack of character and ruthlessness.

And no idea how to score a goal.

And yet Kelman has more goals this season...

Kelman / Sotiriou much of a muchness
Drinan > Perkins massive downgrade, Edwards situation again
Pigott > no-one, even more ridiculous player gone no replacement

Monkey Boy wrote: Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:12 pm Relegation written all over them at the moment, Wellens can’t keep defending this. We have got nothing up front and the whole management must take the blame. Be lucky if we don’t get Simpson sent off.
Wellens chose the players we signed, he rates Kelman so highly, he chooses the team and the positions they play in and the formation they play in. The buck stops with him.
Did he? Wanted an LB all summer and had to start with Sweeney only getting someone after 4 losses. Asked for senior pro strikers since January and got Perkins, is that him or the recruitment team (Ling) seeking out ex-academy players?

We are sooooooo poor, clueless don’t know what to do when we get the ball, it’s a hard watch
We could have 15 players on that pitch and we still wouldn’t score

Two players on who couldn't even get in the squad last few weeks, makes no sense. Who has Pratley upset, at least he gives everything, some steel and physicality

Ruel got rid us! We offered him a 2 year contract.

Donkey looks incredibly light weight. Doesn't offer much by way of creativity and hasn't looked like scoring.

This half is a rough watch.

Liked how Brown tried to trip the guy who was on the counter-attack and was too weak to even achieve that.

My idea of putting Beckles up front isn’t looking so stupid now. In fact my other arf could do better than what we have
