Economical with the truth. Bore off and get behind the club
“Economical with the truth”

Ermm no. I said that tickets are being sold for £30+. Tickets are indeed being sold for £30+.

Just because you have a negative opinion of me that doesn’t change what is or isn’t a fact. Calling somebody a liar when they are saying something which is demonstrably a fact is just petty. Grow up.
Yes 3 matches at these prices. so yes economical with the truth. now bore off and support the team
My claim: tickets are being sold for £30+
Reality: tickets are being sold for £30+

Did I say “all tickets are £30+”?. No, I didn’t.

So how exactly am I being “economical with the truth”?

You don’t get to accuse someone of lying just because you don’t like them.

Okay, the "£31 back" was an error that the club have admitted, but all in all, I don't have a problem with the process at all.

In fact, I think it's great.

I miss quite a few home games (in South Stand) at £18 per game roughly as a season-ticket holder.

Under the old way, I lose the whole £18 and the seat sits empty.

This way, if the seat is sold again I lose only £8 AND the club get a further £31, which means they've sold the seat for £39 and the seat doesn't sit empty (which adds to the atmosphere in the ground)

This is how the club moves forward- financially, in a tiny ground.

What's not surprising is those that bleat endlessly about the club's lack of budget and expenditure, are those whining the loudest on this thread. Whiners gonna whine, whatever the platform.
