Yes, I was wondering about that as well . Does Monc's mean maybe our style of play doesn't suit him .? Nonetheless no matter what the style of play ,players still have to run around for 90 minutes . His talent was never in question but he doesn't seem to have the stamina anymore .

Was on the bench last night and came on for 19 mins. Southend forum had nothing but praise for his debut. They are convinced he is star material and that they have a good player. Little do they know he is only fit enough for 60 mins.

I have found the constant rubbishing of George to be unpleasant and undeserved. I felt that his return to the team last season coincided with our best run of results. Had he come on for the last 20 minutes with his experience and ball control on Saturday I wonder if the outcome would have been different (I know he wasn't actually on the bench so could not have done so). This is a brilliant move by Southend. Good luck George
