I remember watching MOTD one night and Alan Shearer said as a striker you always remember your first professional first team goal . When Harry Kane remembers his he will be wearing an all red Orient kit :D

Just seen footage online of him training - presumably yesterday or this morning - so looks like will be included tomorrow.

Yes , that's another pleasing aspect about his loan . We're going to need him as well . He should definaley get a shed load of game time with us .

That's good news . I was wondering if he'd signed in time to be included in tomorrow's squad .

Sounds like a promising signing. Only doubt is the fact that he hasn’t had any men’s league experience outside of 3 short sub appearances. But he sounds ready.

Very interesting to see where he plays for us. A clip of some friendlies he played in over the summer he looked like he was playing number 8 or number 10.

So that’s the left back 10 and striker sorted , have a great holiday Martin been a great transfer window

This seems a promising signing, gives us more attacking options especially whilst Graham is still a few weeks away from his return.

Get the feeling Perkins will be down the pecking order now as a result.

Actually I think Martin does a great job and I’m a great admirer , the statement is actually that he covers all 3 positions

As he should be. He’s nowhere near ready to be starting L1 games.

It’ll be interesting to see how ONeill fits in now.

Good to have some competition and cover so he can be kept on his toes and also have his game time managed

Wonder if we might make a loan move for Jamie Donley NI striker after tomorrows game, he would be an excellent option off the bench for us quick and a good finisher.

No thanks, why would we want another undeveloped 19 year old kid on loan, who has never played mens football or scored a professional goal.
We need an experienced No.9

I have literally no idea on the kids ability and won’t comment until I’ve seen him play for myself.

But I stand by my opinion that we need experience in that no 9 role, not an untried kid that will get bullied by L1 centre halves.

Didn't Richie say a few days ago that he wanted another two or three players . Well Donley is one of them so maybe the next player will be that number 9 you're hopping for . Who knows

I really wanted an experienced No.9 to join Dan & Charlie, but that has obviously not happened, shame but the budget is not there.

I admit, I was not keen on a 19 year old with no experience of men’s football, as it’s a massive step up, as we witnessed with the 2 young kids end of last season, hence my previous post, as I had never heard of Jamie Donley.

However, since my post I spoke with a few of my Spurs mates, and I was pleased to hear, they gave glowing references, and said he will be a very good player, who is versatile and can play in various positions, he just needs game time in mens football, and when he does he will get better game by game and we will have a top player for L1 on our hands.

So on paper, and after hearing what I have heard from Spurs fans, I was very happy with this signing, it may take time and longer than and experienced No.9 coming in & hitting the ground running, but it’s an exciting signing.
So not embarrassing at all, opinions can change, and I’m happy to say mine changed, the more I was told by Spurs fans about Jamie.

Let’s hope Jamie gets the game time he needs in mens football and he can challenge Dan & Charlie, and become an important player for O’s this season.

I thought he looked promising yesterday. Played more like a 10 than a 9, it looks like Charlie K is our focal point at the moment.

The ball obviously looks good but I wouldn't have started him I would have played him at sub then brought him on but hay ho we go again
