Based on his performances towards the end of the season we should already have started talks with him about an extension…

All this talk about offering players extensions, but some of them may live in flats.

From a business point of view, it would be good business to get 500k, for a player that cost us nowt last year

From a football point of view it would be disastrous to let him go. Teams that let their best players go, suffer in their league position, and get relegated eventually.

It's a tough one for me, but from a fans point of view, I'd like to keep him, especially after losing our top scorer 3 days ago

Losing El Miz is bad enough but if we let Galbraith go as well , we will be like a car without an engine . We can’t stop clubs coming in, but we need to be robust and not little Leyton Orient . Remind Huddersfield
That they are in the same league so clear off !
We had a second hand Forde last year which worked out well .Morris was ok when he was here and Sotiriou is now a Rover
Sadly none of them were a Triumph!😆

Extend his contract, sell him in 12 months time when the fee will be through the roof if he continues on his current trajectory

We’re talking about a player who has had a season in league two and was decent for just over half a season in league one. It’s natural to overvalue your own assets.

If orient bought a player for half a mil with the same cv you’d think king had gone mad
How would you value Kyprianou in comparison? Similar age and number of games at the same level. Reportedly they turned down 7 figure bids though of course that may have been agent speak.

Hector is further ahead in his development and better established at the moment. He’s had pretty much four full seasons playing senior football. Ethan has only 3 part seasons - it looks as if last year was his best and even that was stop start, only really getting going at the end.

But he’s definitely got more potential IMO. We’d be crazy to sell at this stage.

gshaw....I wonder what you thought of Hector when he was at the Os, were you pleased when he went to Peterborough for a transfer fee of reportedly £300,000 ?

Praised lord Ferguson of Peterborough for taking a liability off our hands and letting us bring in two quality pros ready for an L2 title push.

If they were able to have the luxury of time to develop him good for them, we needed instant results and El Miz and Moncur delivered

Logical fee is new contract with bigger wages and a 2 million release clause

I agree if they want to pay £500.000 that’s fine. Ipswich have placed a £350,000 tag on El Miz with Derby and Oxford interested.

That 500k would allow us to buy El Miz from Ipswich what would you prefer.

El Miz wouldn't choose L1 over Championship, and Galbraith should be sold in Jan and at £1m plus. I'm sure he will be very good for us this season

No , its doesn't make any sense because that would be a poor deal for us . We would be stupid to accept that .

Unless he ruptures his achilies or tears his cruciate pre season & stays, plays no games, no cash injection for new players & so on & so on.

We had him in as a first choice starter where he was making one mistake after another.
Peterborough brought him in as a project to develop slowly as they have the squad depth to allow that.

That's the difference, he wasn't ready for what we needed hence why our midfield was absolutely useless under KJ. Remember the futility of starting Kyprianou, Young and Coleman / Brown? What player he ended up 2 years down the line doesn't matter, was more important we had players to win L2 promotion when we did.
