Not really as most of them didn't really 'threaten' to win something.

It has been one of the worst European Championships for years, some really awful matches.
How did you know if it was boring if you didn't watch it?PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 12:29 pmI totally agree with them, boring, boring negative football I can’t stand to watch anymore.Just scraping a win on penalties is not good enough.Yes we are in another Semi Final but that’s means and counts for nothing unless we win the final.
Some people are easily pleased and don’t mind watching generally mind bending boring negative football and are happy with getting as far as the semi finals but I will never be.

They aren’t nearly men, they are nowhere near menProposition Joe wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 2:22 pmSo the same as every single manager we've ever had apart from Ramsay then?PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 2:06 pmDoesn’t change the fact that Southgate has been a nearly man since becoming England Manager and in my opinion will always be a nearly man, he is a loser for England in winning Tournaments.

I know it was boring, negative football because everyone that I know told me, knowing that I refuse to watch the match .Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 3:29 pmHow did you know if it was boring if you didn't watch it?PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 12:29 pmI totally agree with them, boring, boring negative football I can’t stand to watch anymore.Just scraping a win on penalties is not good enough.Yes we are in another Semi Final but that’s means and counts for nothing unless we win the final.

I assume from your post you won't watch the semi-final then. Though no doubt you'll come on here to moan about it; which strikes me as somewhat perverse behaviour, as well as a total waste of your time that you could be using for the entertainment you appear to be craving.
Fair enough fella. There Was an improvement- particularly in the first half, But, entertaining it wasn't really. It wasn't a bad game though..PoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 11:57 amI know it was boring, negative football because everyone that I know told me, knowing that I refuse to watch the match .Scuba Diver wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 3:29 pmHow did you know if it was boring if you didn't watch it?PoundhillO wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 12:29 pm

The majority of them said they wished they hadn’t watched the match
No I certainly won’t be watching the semi final even though I desperately want England to win but can’t watch anymore of the boring negative football until England appoint a new Manager.
I will wait for feedback before making any comments after the game, who knows we might play positive entertaining football and win .
Combination of tired players and the Dutch changing shape and stifling the midfield. We haven’t got a midfielder who can unlock that really.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 10:10 pm Well done Southgate, cant argue with his record although he has been lucky at times.
First half was great but second half we faded. All part of the plan?
Yeah but we were lucky.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 10:34 pm Tonight is the best I've seen us play this tournament, peaking at the right time. I dont think his usual gameplan will keep the Spanish out though.
