The squad isn't settled as many of the spine players were loans so we need to sort a lot of key positions in our starting XI

GK (hopefully a senior pro and not Brynn)
LB and RB (regardless of James signing)
CDM (we're all hoping for El Miz aren't we)
Winger (maybe return of Forde?)
Striker x2 (provided we can shift Pigott)

That's at least 7, perhaps up to double figures if none of those 3 sign.

Personally not fussed if any of the three who haven't signed move on and given we're well sorted at CB now Happe has a much weaker negotiating position. RW saying he was after some athletic full backs is promising so again not fussed on James. Just waiting for Sid Bishop to quote me on Ruel :D

😂 you know how much he’s earning to the nearest £100?

Think the point is that, for whatever reasons, we are once again dragging our heels whilst other clubs are getting their business done early.

Yes . - If you bothered to look, it's all out there. Not that you bother to do anything other than try and come over as clever (which you ain't btw :clown ) .

The one thing about that site the total wage does add up to the total that's been mentioned from the Travis Q&A sessions and accounts so regardless of whether the per player numbers are accurate it gives a reasonable idea of what the wages would be to get to that total

They've got no idea, it's total guesswork. You'd have to be a proper wally to rely on that as accurate.

Agreed, not settled at all, we have loads of business to do.

I'm hoping given whats been said, Lingy is taking a back seat and Wellens is driving the recruitment process from here on in.

I didn’t say it was a settled squad but more settled than Rotherham who have made major changes and will probably end up signing 14 or 15. Whatever happens to the three offered contracts there is no way we will make 10 signings. The only “spine players” that were relevant and on loan were El Miz.and Brynn. The kids up front hardly made any impact. I would happily take Forde back and can only hope that we can work something out and get El Miz back.

Some of those figures are accurate others are not so much, but overall it’s close to what our total wages were set at. Johnson Clarke was on £6000 + bonuses. So his figure appears to be spot on.

If those 3 don't sign we'll need to sign 9 or 10 else we'll have a relegation battle sized squad. Even Ling wouldn't be that naive never mind Richie, who knows exactly what we need.

You're correct those two loanees made next to no impact, which was the reason we ended up falling away (just as Richie predicted). As it stands the only striker worthy of the shirt that we have under contract is Agyei, you can't go through a season like that.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if we get Adu-Adjei back as a cheap winger / striker loan option given Harrold is now at Bournemouth. Forde fingers crossed Watford see how El Miz had developed with us and think another year will be beneficial.

Hopefully we'll hear some news soon that Pigott has been released then that's a squad position freed up for someone more suitable.

Pigott nearly went to AFC Wimbledon in January. Best option for us is to find a club to take on the last year of his contract (or at least most of it.)

Maybe we’ve tried to get players but our budget doesn’t suit the player, do some just presume you go in for a player and they accept it? We can only spend within our budget set by the board.

I assume we've already been talking to potential new signings so we just have to wait and see who we can get .

Of the 5 players that Rotherham have signed, 3 are 30 and one is 29. Obviously going for experience.

Going by Richie’s last interview he was scheduled to have been speaking with potential new signings by now.

Who is this ‘Forde Fingers’? Any relation to Johnny Fingers of the Boomtown Rats?

He’s been to Dubai for a week spent a few days in Boston with Travis and board (or at least most of them) and I think he’s now on his family holidat.
