I can’t stand it now.
Why meddle with things so much that the whole who-inverse is ruined

The nonsense continues next season too :(
Doctor Who boss says breaking the fourth wall is "part of the show going forward"
Russell T Davies also confirmed that season 15 features "an episode that's packed full of songs"

The BBC lost the plot years ago.
Time to do away with it in its current form.
Quite outrageous that all who watch a tv have to pay an expensive yearly subscription to a tv service that many rarely if ever watch.

You don’t - I cancelled my license a month ago and don’t miss it one bit.

Actually had a good laugh when I got a letter this morning telling me undercover operatives were going to attend my street to double check I’m not watching live TV

The people banging on about Dr Who being ruined by woke do not watch it anyway. So they're no loss. As RTW said, all shows are losing viewers, but mainly because people simply do not watch television like they used to.
Yes , there's a lot of merit in what you say but however Dr Who has been going downhill for some time now . The rot started to set in just after Matt Smith left . With Capaldi the storylines became quite poor so I stopped watching it . I've hardly watched it since . I caught a glimpse of the last Christmas special and thought it looked rubbish . I'm not surprised to hear the show is now badly struggling

I totally agree . My wife watches Strictly Come Dancing but apart from that we hardly watch BBC anymore .

There's nothing I despise more than a story related using the song format. I believe they are called Musicals and if that is what Who has become then I fully expect the fearsome Ice Warriors to be ragin' and to rise up.

Even if the story through song is about workers uniting to resist their exploitation from the capitalist elite, a la Hadestown?

It would be far more interesting to have Jon Pertwee's Worzel Gummidge resurrected as the next Dr Who with Aunt Sally as his traveling companion on his journey through time and space !
